Workout this morning was interesting... had a great sweat going and tweaked my left trap on the first set of #HSPU ... used my tens unit a lot today... feeling a lot better now than earlier! Meant to hit the gym tonight, and then @bdeakins722 and I got side tracked in rescuing a dog running through the neighborhood! After an hour we finally got it on a leash and then a trip to the dog warden... I wrote these down at the begginning of the year, and now I realize I don't have them posted anywhere easy for me to see, so why not post them on IG? I really tried to balance optimism with realism. Some of these I am very close to getting, and others will be very difficult, whether because of my own physical limitations or training priorities, but they are all important to me, and I hope in January 2018 I will be able to look back at this list and find that I nailed most of it. Mix up your workouts with outdoor runs, swimming and steps training like this one. They are great for cardio as well as muscular endurance. Difficult workout today! Got my running intervals in at a new record pace... took my 29:02 today... which was about 40 seconds better than last time! it's been a minute but #mormeals are back πŸ‘¨πŸΎβ€πŸ³. just made this creation from a few things I found in my pantry & fridge (saving that coin though) β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’ β€’β€’β€’β€’what's inside: +spinach base + 1/4 cup of cranberries + 1/4 cup of walnuts +1/4 cup of tricolored quinoa, mixed with black pepper, basil, and garlic powder & then to dress it up I added chipotle Tabasco sauce (like the kind @ chipotle) and fresh lemon juice from half of a lemon. This spicy, sweet, savory combo is everything. πŸ€— #mormoment: if you're looking to SHED SOME POUNDS, focus your meals around a leafy green base [spinach, kale, arugula, romaine, Swiss chard, collards, etc] rather than bread on a sandwich, in a wrap, on a burrito, blah blah.
