Comin' at ya with a selfie to show off my new #invisalignsmile ๐Ÿ˜ and to ask for advice on how y'all manage(d) to fit your macros in when you're only allowed 2 hours to have your trays out to eat, brush your teeth and clean them. 2 HOURSโ€ผ๏ธ โ€ข โ€ข Finally got around to saving up for these babies (goodbye 3 thousand dollars๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’ธ) all thanks to 14-year-oldMichaela not wearing her retainers when she got her braces out!!! ๐Ÿ˜ โ€ข โ€ข But really, Invisalign is a pain but I keep reminding myself I wanted this (I told y'all 24 will be my selfish year!!) so I'll brush my teeth in as many public bathrooms as I have to (cuz you know I still have to live my life), deal with the slight lisp and the super sore teeth for my perfect smile in 6 months (if I keep it up with keeping them on for 22 hours a day- which I will!)โ€ข โ€ข So any advice on keeping ya girl happy and eating well with my glorious 2 hours of freedom- I am all ears! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I took this video because I wanted to show off my arm muscles while I was doing this backward grip push up, but after I took the first video which is the second post on here I noticed how bad my posture was and how I wasn't engaging my core at all. That means I'm wasting most of my energy not even working my body in the right way. So I took the other video which should be the first post, and I made sure to engage my core and fix my gaze. I think that helped a lot. See if you can see the difference. I encourage y'all to record yourself and improve on your bad habits. You don't necessarily have to post it anywhere. Bullet Proof your Rotator Cuffs with these resistance band strengthening exercises. Attach a band to a rack or door and walk out giving tension on the band. Keep good posture / Shoulders back / Core activated - Keep your elbow pinned to the side and work onslow and controlled movements. Cliche post workout selfie ramble comin atcha. Pride. Something, as a trainer, I promote letting go of and using proper form before adding weight, but even as a trainer, we can struggle with from time to time. I am over the moon that I just finished my first week of a new program including lots of strength movements but also lots of therapy exercises and have had only lots of good soreness going on and no bad back pain anymore. All it took was a second set of eyes at my movement patterns, dropping some of my weights, focusing on form, and performing long holds/reps. Not exactly what I enjoy doing, but something that's clearly working. Ask someone to evaluate your form from time to time and see how your movements are looking. God has truly blessed me today. I was able to get up this morning and meditate, then visit another new church in my town. The pastor spoke of us as clay, that we were always ever changing, as in you can always CHOOSE to make a change. I then was able to have an amazing breakfast with my beautiful wife and spectacular son. Afterwards I went to the gym, spent two hours of "me" time. I was blessed to be able to work hard and also be coached virtually by @seantcb & @jocelygs โค๏ธ๐Ÿฆโค๏ธ. Who is luckier than me???? I am so blessed.

So you ever do that? Find one thing and just focus? All week. Working it into your goals and to do lists. My muscles definitely needed that massage last night and the rest/restore yoga session from Shift Shop this morning, too. Followed it with a long doggie walk and a yummy sweet/savory waffle. So great! GF cinnamon waffle, veggie spread, a little butter, handful of kale (sautรฉed in bacon grease) and ... BACON! With hoooot coffee of course. What is is about bacon that's just soooo good?!?!
