{Meet The Coaches} ๐Ÿ’€ Liam "LC" Copland stormed through the doors of 5EW in June of 2016 with the presence of a god, arriving from Wollongong with no plans other than to create a new life in Melbourne. Shortly after becoming a member, training under Anthony, he chatted with The Boys upstairs. They couldn't resist his good nature and even better looks, and so he joined the team ๐Ÿ™Œ LC was a music teacher for many years and entered personal training because he was hooked on the connections he was making with people. The instrument was just an apparatus to forge a bond over, and lifting weights is no different. He believes people are their best selves when they're learning something, or getting sweaty and playing around with weights. Liam's goal with coaching is to move into the more specified field of 'masculinities'. By running seminars for young boys and teens, he wants to help the ones lost in a bullshit world of violence and unrealistic expectations. Using the age old technique of lifting weights (strongman training in particular), nutrition and mindfulness, he aims to help get into their little brains, to be an ambassador for struggling men and even help tackle male suicide. As a sensitive new age guy who can Farmer's Carry 200kg over 40m, he is a Man who can walk the talk ๐Ÿ’ช "As a person, I want to be a million things, with multiple personalities. I want to be able to cry my eyes out and then run down a bison. I want to be able to recite a poem and then lift an atlas stone over my head. I want to show people that they can be more than one thing, that they can be complicated and contradicting and that's okay, better than okay. I mostly want to show men that they can be sensitive and emotional, but still 'masculine' and fierce. I want to do this through example." ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Powerful LC He is just as happy laying on the couch with some English literature & sandalwood incense as he is lifting this 70kg stone above his head. He is also famous amongst the staff as having the happiest face when bathing in sub 2-degree water โ„๏ธ Even after eating, working and sweating with Liam for less than 12 months, we already know, that he will realise every one of his dreams ๐Ÿ’›

//Mum Bod// . It's been 13 months since I gave birth. 13 months of pure love. My body has changed so much in that time. It's the same, but different, you know? Hate to say it but I'm 35 and sometimes I feel 75, I have new grey hair sprouting daily and what's with the fizz hair across my hairline (please tell me it's a passing phase?!!), my boobs are smaller than before (how is that even possible, thanks breastfeeding), a night out with the girls now means I want to be home in bed before midnight, three glasses of wine and I'd be drunk, I've swapped high heels (most of the time) for flats and sneakers ๐Ÿ˜ฒ and I laugh at women with no children who have opinions about their hypothetical children and what they'll never do. But today, I looked in the mirror and thought, oh hey, I not only am starting to feel like myself again, I've started to look like myself again.
