Warmups 💪🏽 instead of doing heavy cardio before your workout (🤔big no no as it's makes you less inclined to have good form and doesn't allow you to be as focused on your muscle groups) try these! . . #Plyometrics get your heart rate up, and wake your #muscles up WITHOUT killing them before you.... well kill them 😏😂 I felt so much better going into my workout doing these instead of doing accessory workouts or running. NOTHING I hate more than cardio 🤷🏽‍♀️ . . PLUS, add weights and these can become part of your regular sets. 😊 happy lifting! 🌞💙🏋🏽‍♀️

Getting that warm up done but the legs wasn't ready for the box jumps so had to have another try to get it right. Things a heart raiser if you can't do it just perform a pike handstand press, decrease the height of the jump and perform a pull up instead of a muscle up. The front leaver is a bit more advanced but that can performed with a resistance band. So, the 4,000+ mg of sodium I inhaled yesterday agreed with my body this morning after breaky, plyo & HIIT 😅. That was a whoops on my part..but I hit all my macros 100% sooooooo🤷🏻‍♀️. 💪🏽POWER TRAINING💪🏽 . 💪🏽Running athlete Thomas going through vertical and horizontal displacement exercises (depth jump into vertical triple ext to single leg landing, and broad jump + stick into single leg landing) to develop triple extension (ankle, knee and hips), landing mechanics and force vector specific power. . 💪🏽Running athletes need to have the ability to resist too much knee flexion when competing to avoid injury and energy leaks to improve performance . 💪🏽This was done at the START of the session before more specific strength work.
