First day lifting on my own at #kratosgym. I was a little bit nervous/intimidated. But after an extremely encouraging talk with @johnwalkerpro and some assistance with the equipment (some of which I had never seen before😂) from @kristinnicole_fit I fell into my workout and got it done. Sometimes walking right through the doors and straight into biggest fear is the best way to conquer it. So it's not always about the lifts you hit. It's not always about the big PRs. (though I hit a PR prior to this) It is about the consistent work you put into it. It's overcoming mental fears and making a decision to just go for it. Even if you miss, which we all do, constant, it simply becomes a new hurdle to jump. I'll have you next time, 300 #. Two issues: 1) I need to wear more color. 2) I'm not eating enough for the amount I'm working out. It's becoming a problem. But I'm still sick and my appetite is non-existent. Something is out of balance... if I don't work out my anxiety spikes. If I do work out, my blood sugar and blood pressure tank and Barrett has to both shout at me to eat and brace for me to get up before I pass out. Wish I could get a picture because his answer is to sit on me and literally not let me get up for the rest of the night. I suppose he's fed up. Not joking - have YOU tried to move a determined and dead-weight 80lb GSD? Not gonna happen. Melatonin Melatonin is a hormones that is released by the Pineal gland. When our eyes (retina) detects a decrease in light (sunset) it signals to our Pineal gland to produce more melatonin. Similarly when sun rises the production of melatonin from our pineal glad signals for a decrease in production. We have an internal mechanism called the circadian rhythm which regulates when we sleep and rise. TIP's . ✅ Turn off lights🔦, 30-60 minutes before sleep. Hymalayan salt lamps are ideal to turn on in this 30 - 60 minute period if light is required 👉link in bio💥 . . ✅ Make sure the room which you are sleeping in is free from light (especially blue🌀). (includes the small LED light from your TV's📺, computers💻, phones📲 etc.) as your retina can detect this and can have an affect. . ✅ Avoid ☕ coffee after 12pm. . ✅ No food 3 - 4 hours before sleep. #keepitfresh #togetherwecan

Didn't have the opportunity to go to the gym for a week and gained some unwanted weight. Wasn't how I wanted to finish my bulk. Today was my first day on my cut and hit biceps and a heavy chest day full of 5x5's. Drastically cutting my carbs while keeping my protein the same and raising my fat slightly. Hopefully this cut turns out better than my bulk.
