"Eating Healthy" is the most common comment I get and it's the biggest misconception in fitness. Eating to be healthy and eating to grow (or shred) are completely different . Plus, most people's concept about "eating healthy" is buying low-fat products or getting a diet soda. If you want to look like a fitness icon, you have to think like one. Educate yourself on nutrition since the kitchen is where 80% of the work is done . Bulking = up the carbs, drop the fats . Shredding = up the fats, drop the carbs . But all in the right proportions. Don't guess it. Research it, learn it, live by it. If i can do it, you can do it . BE PATIENT 👇🏼 If you're fairly new to training, you might find you get results quickly. You're losing fat or gaining muscle fairly easily. Then your progress starts to slow down even though you're still training just as hard. This is about the time people start to give up on their program and go back to old habits. DON'T GIVE UP. . Seeing results gets harder the longer you train. Stay consistent with your program, ensure it's progressive and adjust your nutritional intake based on your progress and goals. You will get there, just exercise some patience. . The worlds greatest athletes didn't achieve new records without a lot of consistent hard work. You can guarantee they have had some shit weeks where they didn't perform their best, didn't set new records or PBs. О спорте. . 🏋🏼‍♀️ Обещала делиться с вами своими планами, по поводу питания и тренировок💭 к тому же, многим из вас это действительно интересно 👀 ну, судя по сообщениям в директе 😉⠀ Пришла к режиму тренировок 2 на 3. ⠀ 🔺Что это значит: 2 дня тренируюсь, отдых; 3 дня тренируюсь, отдых 😌 Пробовала заниматься 6 раз в неделю, и воскресенье отдых, и поняла, что это для меня слишком! Я устаю, и начинаю пропускать тренировки, либо же не эффективно занимаюсь, без прогресса, а даже порой наоборот 🙄⠀ А вот 5 раз в неделю, с островками отдыха между днями 👍 ⠀ 🔺Что именно делаю: день бегаю, день кроссфит 😎 Все просто! ⠀ Добавила на эту неделю скакалку :) Пока силы ещё есть 😂⠀ Ну и конечно турники 👀 чтоб их! Буду вспоминать детство 🐒 И заново учиться лазить, подтягиваться, ну вы поняли! Это ЖЕСТЬ 😭🤣 ⠀ Ну как бы, я сама себе задала такую планку! И что теперь, забить?!

#tbt My 3 comps!! Left and centre 46 & 47 years young IFBB Bikini Masters. Right INBA 50+ Figure Masters. I was only 50 by 3 weeks 😝 . Two bikinis so close together was purely to make up for the mistakes of the first one. So often first comps are a lesson. You can see the massive difference in my condition!!! The 3 year break I call my recovery years; many non fitness challenges to overcome and grow from. Plus I walked off stage in October 2013 swearing I would never compete again.... but as the muscle hungry Jane was born I knew I had to for my 50th birthday. And I felt waaaay more at home on stage in figure; flexing and showing off my hard work is more my style. 💪🏻 . No plans to compete again at this stage. But never say never.. new coach, new protocol; lets see what gains we can achieve. Legs still need a lot of work!! Always my weakness. Definitely a photo shoot before the end of 2017 after I turn 51. What do you do when your first class is cancelled for the day but you don't have enough time to go to the gym? Get out the @lebertfitness bars. Of course with an appearance by my wonderful photobombing dog. I try to make my videos as real as possible. Yes I use speed up and slow down features just to make things interesting within a minute. But there are certain things I won't cut out. For example my 17 year old dog, my dirty feet, and my "all smiles" bare naked face excited at what I just accomplished and didn't even know I could do.

Have you ever heard of "whoosh effect"?. If so, I'm waiting patiently for it to happen soon. -------------- Have you ever had a great week where you measured every ounce of food, worked out 6x week, drank tons of water, & stayed within your points and the scale didn't show a difference? ▪️here is what the "whoosh effect" does: As you burn fat, you’ll sometimes notice that the area where the fat used to be tends to take on a sort of “squishy” consistency. “Squishy” fat forms because, as fat cells are extracted and mobilized, the space where they once existed gets filled with water, making the area feel “softer” than normal. Sometimes “squishy fat” forms in places we can see it, and sometimes it forms more internally where we can’t. Sometimes it’s in huge pockets, and sometimes it forms at a microscopic level where you can’t see it or feel it. But the areas that were once filled with fat sit there, filled with 💦 The squishy-fat areas can last for a few days to as much as a few weeks. Then, one day, inexplicably and out of nowhere, all that squishy fat suddenly tightens up! In some cases, you’ll even (suddenly) look leaner! And at the same time, the scale suddenly drops — and you cheer because you feel like whatever you did the day before caused you to lose a ton of weight! It will probably surprise you to learn that almost ALL scale movements are the result of fat burn that happened days, or even weeks ago! (Sudden scale movement at the very beginning of a diet is usually the result of water-weight being dropped due to a decrease in carb intake, however). Did you catch that? When the scale goes down while dieting, it’s usually because of fat that you lost several days (or even weeks) ago, and your body is finally expelling the water that took its place. Put another way, even though you may be in a state where you are constantly burning fat, the results of that effort may not show up on the scale immediately. These killed me! Started my push day with these different push-up variations. Only able to get about 5 reps of each at a time. The last two really work your core and require a lot of stability which is my weak area 🙃 make sure to use a mat for your hands on the first one and under your knees for the last two if your balance is as bad as mine haha
