Bradley (Achilles) has been ruled out for tonight game against the Pistons Bradley will be missing his 18th consecutive game Sunday, but is apparently trending towards a return by the end of the week. In regards to Bradley's availability moving forward, coach Brad Stevens said Bradley could be back "any day now", so it appears there's plenty of optimism surrounding his recovery. That said, Bradley has still been ruled out Sunday, so look for Jaylen Brown to pick up another start in his place, with Bradley's next opportunity to play on Monday vs. the Hawks.

Raptors 107-97 Celtics Toronto finished the contest by making seven of its final eight shots, including a stretch of six straight, as it pulled ahead for the victory. Four different Raptors made a shot during the stretch, including four makes from All-Star DeMar DeRozan. The stretch of hot shooting began shortly after Boston took an 88-84 lead with 5:28 remaining in the game. DeRozan quickly answered back with a driving layup 19 seconds later, and the Raptors were off and running. DeRozan put home another driving layup, which was followed by a jumper from newcomer Serge Ibaka and a 3-pointer from DeMarre Carroll. DeRozan then canned a jumper of his own before Cory Joseph did the same, and DeRozan closed out the run with another jumper with exactly one minute left on the clock to push Toronto ahead 99-94. The Raptors iced the game with eight free throws during the final minute. Toronto’s only miss of the stretch was a 3-pointer from Carroll.

Avery Bradley unlikely to play tonight after unusual Thursday Avery Bradley admits he was a little puzzled when pulled out of Thursday’s practice a third of the way in. The official team line was that the Celtics guard, attempting to return from a strained right Achilles, was following medical protocol. But with the trade deadline at hand, his mind began working in another direction. “It crossed my mind a few times, but I was more concerned with just trying to practice than anything,” he said before this morning’s shootaround at the Air Canada Centre. “So I wasn’t really paying attention to it. After, I thought about it, like maybe that’s why. But I was just more focused on trying to practice.” Bradley, with a glum expression, acknowledged that he didn’t know if he would finally return to action Friday night against the Raptors – an important game with playoff seeding undertones. But Brad Stevens, admitting that not even he knew the entire medical plan for Bradley’s recovery, framed Bradley’s availability as “doubtful.” “The progression that he’s on he’ll go through shootaround,” said the Celtics coach. “Not playing tonight most likely but is closer to playing than not. I think one of the things we want to really be careful with is coming off this All-Star break, only practicing once, is making sure that when he gets back we don’t have a situation where he re-injures himself. So he’s just able to go full throttle at the right pace and the right progression from there.” Bradley hasn’t played since Jan. 16 and has missed 20 games. “They’re telling me that maybe I am, but they wrote down where they wanted me to be and they want me to follow it and I don’t know,” he said. “I guess we’re trying to meet in the middle somewhere. I’ll see what they let me do. Hopefully I can try to push them to give me a chance to play tonight if it’s just a few minutes. I don’t know
