Gerald Green on if he wants to return to Boston next season: "Of course I want to come back. Why wouldn't I? I don't like starting something I can't finish.Me and IT are really close friends. I've gained a lot of close friends on the team. I got drafted here. Brad is a genius. A man I love playing, it's an honor to play for him. Why wouldn't I want to come back to this organization when we're that close in getting a ring?" Would you like to see Gerald Green again here in Boston ?

"I want to win a championship, and being so close to getting to the Finals, that makes you want it that much more." "We need the best possible player that's gonna help us win, and I'm with that," Thomas said. "Anything Danny [Ainge] and this organization need me to do to help bring even more talent to this city, I'm all for that. I want to win a championship, and being so close to getting to the Finals, that makes you want it that much more." Thomas is set to make just over $6 million next season in the final season of a four-year deal. Cleveland Cavaliers' Tyronn Lue: Boston Celtics 'harder to defend' than Golden State Warriors Lue told reporters Wednesday that since the Celtics lost All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas to a season-ending hip injury in Game 2, Boston has become almost impossible to scheme against. “The stuff they’re running, it’s harder to defend than Golden State’s [offense] for me, as far as the actions and all the running around and all the guys who are making all the plays, so it’s a totally different thing. “Like, they hit the post, Golden State runs splits and all that stuff but these guys are running all kinds of [stuff]. “And Brad’s [Stevens] got them moving and cutting and playing with pace and everybody is a threat.” That's why, when asked whether he is thinking about a possible third straight title meeting with the Warriors, Lue, whose team is up 3-1 on Boston, said, "You can't. As much as you want to, it's not over." Let's Go Celtics, let's take this win, I believe in Celtics.TD Garden should be on fire. #Let'sGoCeltics
