📰Today's News: The Knicks have reportedly not ruled out trading Kristaps Porzingis and also mentioned that they're interested in projected top-5 pick, Josh Jackson. The New York Daily News reports that the Celtics are interested in trading for the Latvian PF/C. Lots of speculation about where the young star will be playing next season. - Josh Jackson refused to work out for the Celtics today and says he will continue to do so until Boston assures him that 1) they will keep the no. 3 pick, and 2) they'll use it to draft him.

14

📰Recent News: The trade is official. Boston has sent the no. 1 overall pick to Philadelphia in exchange for the no. 3 overall pick and a future first round pick. That pick will be the 2018 Lakers first rounder if it lands between 2nd and 5th. If it doesn't, they will receive Philadelphia or Sacramento's 2019 first round pick, depending on which is better. If that pick lands at no. 1 overall, the Celtics will receive the other pick. - The Celtics are considered the biggest threat to sign away Blake Griffin from the Clippers in free agency, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. - The Celtics are reportedly pursuing a trade for Pelicans PF Anthony Davis, according to theScore. However, Davis is an extraordinary talent, who some experts believe could retire a top-5 all time power forward. The asking price from New Orleans would be through the roof, and rightfully so. - Jayson Tatum worked out for the Celtics earlier today. The former Duke small forward impressed the C's with his shot-making ability, according to Dave McMenamin. - Celtics GM Danny Ainge believes there's a 'good chance' the player Boston would've drafted 1st overall will be available at no. 3. - The Celtics have reportedly signed 25-year-old German PF/C Daniel Theis from the Euroleague to a 2-year deal. With Amir Johnson, Jonas Jerebko, and Tyler Zeller all likely departing, this adds some depth to the rebuilding project that is the Celtics' frontcourt.

🚨BREAKING NEWS: Celtics and 76ers will finalize trade Monday sending the no. 1 overall pick to Philadelphia. Boston is rumored to receive the no. 3 overall pick and possibly a little more in return. What do you think about this news? Before you freak out, think it through and realize this could have some connection to the Celtics' interest in Jimmy Butler. If it doesn't then idk what to think... ☘️

Report: Nike is planning to ditch NBA sleeved jerseys next season. What do you think about this news? Personally I don't think ours are as good as what other teams have in stock, but I really like them and wish we could keep them.

FREE AGENCY: I haven't seen hardly anyone discussing this, but I believe the Celtics should pursue JaMychal Green this offseason. He is a power forward / restricted free agent on the Memphis Grizzlies, and I believe he could help our team in a number of ways. First off, you all know I'm ready to move on from Amir Johnson, who is also a free agent this summer. Green averages 8.9 PPG & 7.1 RPG compared to Johnson's 6.5 PPG & 4.6 RPG. Amir does have higher shooting percentages, but that's unfair to say because he shoots notably less shots than Green does. Secondly, I believe Green stretches the floor more and would fit perfectly alongside Al Horford, another stretch big. There are bigger targets in the market for Boston to pursue, without question. But if we want a cheap upgrade over Amir Johnson, this is certainly the way to go. What do you guys think? Do you think the Celtics should go after JaMychal Green? If so, how big a contract should we offer him?
