Only one more week until something awesome happens πŸ€“ This summer has been amazing but I'm super stoked for what's to come! Have a great weekend everybody at Grand Teton National Park

As we were driving towards our next destination the valley behind us began to fill with smoke from a nearby forest fire. We were worried that the lake we were driving to would become smoked out however we got lucky and made it back before the smoke got it there at Jasper, Alberta

Early morning paddles are the best. Pretty soon my life is going to be filled with even more mountains and lakes 😡 stay tuned! at Yoho National Park

The sound of the ocean, sipping on coffee close to a warm crackling fire. The perfect way to wake up at La Push, Washington

I had seen thousands photos of Moraine Lake before visiting the Canadian Rockies. It was nice to finally be able to see it in person. I was suppose to go last year during their first snowfall however due to logistics I drove all the way from Montana to California and ended up skipping it. Hopefully I'll make it this year at Banff, Alberta

I spent this past weekend in Eastern Sierra however our plans were cut short by forest fires nearby. I definitely need to backpack in and camp at higher elevations next time. Hopefully the rain this week will help put the fires out at Eastern Sierra Mountains

The winner of yesterday's caption contest is @pjanm ! Congrats man! Huge thanks to everybody else who also left a comment! We had had almost 200 people participate in the caption contest! You are all amazing! Later today I'll be throwing up some of my favorite comments on my story so keep a lookout for them πŸ€™πŸΌ at Yosemite National Park

I'm excited to be spending this weekend in the mountains. While LA is very much a city I'm quite fortunate that it has so many amazing things nearby. I've thought about living elsewhere a few times for a change of scenery, however for the time being I'm staying here. The opportunities that California has to offer are endless and difficult to pass up at Yosemite National Park

I'm just gonna say it. I prefer sunrise over sunset. Conditions are usually calmer, there's way less people, I've seen amazing light more frequently than at sunset, and it feels more rewarding getting up early to witness it. With that said however I have seen some stellar sunsets in my life too. Which do you prefer? Sunrise or sunset? at Jasper, Alberta

I'm super excited to go somewhere awesome at the end of this month. Any guesses? Here's a hint: It's not anywhere in North America πŸ™‚ at Yosemite National Park

Today I'll be posting some of my favorite photos ever (including this one) over on @photography so come check it out! One of the most common questions I get is what camera and lens I use. I currently shoot on a Canon 6D and have a few lenses. My favorite lens is easily the 17-40mm f4/L which is what I use to take the majority of my photos. It's basically the poor man's 16-35mm πŸ˜‚ however it does get the job done. Do you own a camera? What do you like to shoot on? at Zion National Park
