Bulls grow antlers weighing up to 20 kg (45 lbs). They lose their antlers each March, but begin to grow them back in May in preparation for the late-summer breeding season. Elk range in forest and forest-edge habitat, feeding on grasses, plants, leaves, and bark. Although they are native to North America and eastern Asia, they have adapted well to countries in which they have been introduced, including Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. ____________________________________ Congratulations and thank you for sharing your photo! . ____________________________________ 🌎@ww_nature_knowledge🐝 📷Featured Artist: @theripics ____________________________________ ✨Spider Web✨ A Web is a device created by a Spider out of its silk extruded from its spinnerets. Insects can get trapped in spider webs, providing nutrition to the spider; however, not all spiders build webs to catch prey, and some do not build webs at all. Spiders produce silk from their spinneret glands located at the tip of their abdomen. Each gland produces a thread for a special purpose – for example a trailed safety line, sticky silk for trapping prey or fine silk for wrapping it. ____________________________________ Congratulations and thank you for sharing your fantastic photo!
