First time in a long time that my hips and knees feel great! So I decided to squat heavy today. This is top set with 615lbs of pressure for 5 unassisted reps, built up 1pps for 10 reps to this, then finished for 90 mins of full legs. Now for the keyboard warriors I'll break some shit down for you
1- 450 (5 pps) + 65lbs (smith, I weighed its pressure) + 100lbs (double wrapped FTS mini bands) = 615lbs
2- my spotter was there for emergency but did not help
3- the reason I use smith is to target my quads, add bands, better on my hips, and safer. It isn't any easier, I've squated 6 pps for 5 in the past and I'm much stronger now.
4- depth hips hit knee height every rep, and I fucked my hips in the past trying to prove a point and go deeper.
