💪🔝How I got lost my tummy fat 🏋🏻‍♀️
Probably the most asked question I get asked so I thought I would tell what I feel worked best for me. 💖
1️⃣ TIME AND PATIENCE! It took me 15 months of consistently training and a good diet before I fully lost my belly. 🕰 (swipe left if you don’t believe me 😬😊)
2️⃣Overall weight loss- there really isn’t a magic trick to losing tummy fat, its just overall weight loss 🙌🏼💖 3️⃣Cutting out dairy and cutting back on animal products- This is when I really saw a big difference in the amount of fat around my waist. I’m not vegan but I am 100% dairy free and I don’t eat meat everyday like I used to 🌱
4️⃣ Cutting back heavily on fizzy drink even if it’s zero sugar or low calorie
5️⃣ Not worrying how I look and what the scales say when I’m on my period- girls you’re going to look and feel heavier, it’s water weight- don’t worry! 🙏🏼
6️⃣ Trying to make as much of my food as possible. For example- making a pasta sauce instead of buying a jar, making a sandwich instead of buying a ready made one. (Basically making sure I’m not having excess sodium in my diet which can lead to bloating, “ready” meals and foods are the worst for that😔) 👩🏻‍🍳
7️⃣Drinking 2-3 litres of water a day. (It took me a while to work up to that. At first I wanted to be sick just drinking 1 litre) 💦
8️⃣Spending most of the past 2 years in a calorie deficit. (I work out my calories on the TDEE calculator on iifym website for free)📊
9️⃣ @vickyjustiz tiny waist workout on YouTube- I swear by it as it’s the only workout I’ve found that keeps you toned but doesn’t make your waist “square and blocky”. It keeps you looking petite and feminine. ⏳
1️⃣0️⃣- The most wonderful thing of all- eating actual food! Yes carbs, potatoes, rice, pasta, bread and still allowing for treats. Not stupid meal replacement shakes- trust me I’ve done it and I’m still repairing my metabolism 5 years later so please don’t do it 🙏🏼🙏🏼😭😭 I hope this helps someone to know it’s a process of patience, time, being consistent and overall weight loss not 1000 ab crunches, meal replacement shakes, diet pills and teas that you make 💩 💪
