Here's a quick look at how I transfer my patterns to my plaster block when prepping to carve a new sprig! *Slow, even, angled pressure with a good hard scribe is key* . This "sprig' will actually become the lid for a larger flower brick design I'm hoping to have ready for the update after this next one. The larger holes should be ideal for larger cuttings like Pothos which have bigger roots!🌿 . For those who were asking from yesterday's post, I am so glad to see I have some fellow nerds on here!πŸ˜‚πŸ’— Here are my current 9 categories on my productivity spreadsheet- I find that trying to do *something* in 5 of 9 categories every day helps me keep all of my fronts moving forward (if slowly) rather than charging ahead with one (usually making pots) and having to constantly play 'catch up'. Let me know if this helps you too!πŸ’— . 1) production: making parts, assembling finished products . 2) Marketing: photos, film, editing, post prep, researching/setting up platforms . 3) R and D: new product design, sprig carving, decal drawing, outreach for product feedback etc. . 4) Social: social media, show applications, openings, OPA meetings etc. . 5) communication: emails, wix, DMs . 6) Organization: clean studio, clean office, 1% improvements . 7) Finances: bookkeeping, pay self, donate to NFF on 1st . 8) material prep: mix glaze, mix clay, mix slip, order: decal materials, raw mats, office materials . 9) branding: website development, logo, packaging materials .
