Well, the time has finally come. Tomorrow I'll be flying off to Nepal to trek to Everest Base Camp with 30 amazing peeps all in aid of Prevent Breast Cancer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm both excited and terrified in equal measure. Whilst I'm looking forward to immersing myself into this country and its culture, and to gaze at the mountains I've dreamed about for so long, there are a number of obstacles that need to be overcome. From the blood-chilling flight into Lukla to the ever-present danger of altitude sickness to the almost guaranteed bout of the squits 💩
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But, it is for a great cause after all. I'd like to thank everybody who has supported me and donated so far; your generosity has really blown me away, actually 🙏
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There is still time to donate and I'll be running another hat draw while I'm away which I'll announce when I get back. You know the score: donate £2 or more to enter. The more you donate the higher the chance of winning. The prize is the #ghyllandcrag Everest Base Camp hat which is a limited edition. I'll post a story about it tomorrow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The donation link is in my bio.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Anyway, it would be wonderful if you could follow this adventure via my stories. I'll try to post as many as possible - internet connection permitting. I might not be able to reply to all your messages but I'll certainly read them and they'll be very much appreciated.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
See you all in a few weeks (if I don't die 😂😳)
