In ROPESx360 class we worked three rope patterns (slams, lateral waves, rainbows)using bilateral, unilateral grips with symmetrical, staggered and split stances. We did 3-5 sets, 10 seconds of work with emphasis on power and speed, 10 seconds of rest, 20 between stances and 30 between rope pattern changes. The point of this drill is train these movement patterns to be more powerful. First class is free when you book it through MINDBODY. Strength comes in many shapes and sizes. @katsimho is doing a suspension left/right single knee tuck to a double knee tuck canon ball push-up. This particular exercise a lot of people struggle with whether they are in good shape, male or female. That’s strength!!!💪 We do offer alternative exercises so anyone can participate. ROPESx360 class every Wednesday at 12:00 is a class meant to improve recovery during intense activities/sports. Fantastic for any endurance athlete or any person struggling with erratic breathing while performing physical tasks, exercise or sports. The key to this class is to try and keep a breathing pattern to control heart rate during exercise and slow heart rate during breaks. However, breaks are short to force recovery in the minimal amount of time as possible. Very challenging class, but very rewarding and effective. When we think about fitness and exercise we usually think about the physical benefits it gives us. But, what about the mental benefits of fitness and exercise ? Personally, I feel the most important gains are mentally. Think about it for a second... You would be hard pressed to get through an intense workout if you were not mentally prepared. I get it’s great to look good, but you can’t feel like you look good without confidence. Plus, if you know you can push through an intense workout mentally, you can now carry that over to anything you do in life and feel you can succeed at it. Fitness and exercise is a lifestyle that you carry into everything you do, not just the gym. Remember, you put your body and mind through these hardships to become a better you physically and mentally. Unfortunately, being a better you won’t just be given to you, you’re gonna have to fight and take it for yourself! Don’t just sit there and think about it!
