Look of someone who just killed leg day...or maybe it killed me. I’m really unsure at this point bc I’m already sore and it’s only been 8 hours or so... beyond exhausted and going to bed! Night y’all!!

Here’s something I’m really excited about, I’ve been learning Spanish. I’m still absolutely horrendous at it but it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while and I’ve been taking lessons every night before bed and I’m excited to learn even more! #neverstoplearning

The kid graduated from 6th grade (and thus elementary school) tonight. Congratulations, Stormie! You've made your family, friends, and teachers very proud.

“In a field of roses, she is a wildflower” No longer a child, but not yet a woman, she struggles and pushes to find her place. These are the years that matter. She’s writing her story. Powerful & True. #mentalhealthawareness

Confession time. I started off the year with really good intentions of reducing my single use plastic waste. I was off to a solid start. I carried around my steel straws, bamboo utensils, and fabric grocery bags. Then I got really busy (and tired) at the end of pregnancy and it was just so easy to revert back to convenience. 😖 THEN came baby and I got even busier and even more exhausted and convenience won over completely. It wasn’t until I took this picture that I stopped to re-evaluate. Here I am now, 5 months into 2019, recommitting to my resolution. Y’all watch me and keep me accountable. Also, help me out and drop your favorite tips for eliminating plastic use and/or tag your favorite companies that help you save our planet. 🌍 🌎 🌏 • • • • • #vegan #veganfood #veganfitness #veganlifestyle #veganfoodshare #plantbased #ethicalvegan #crueltyfree #veganism #plantstrong #plantpowered #eatvegan #foodgawker #bestofvegan #feedfeed #vvfb19 #zerowaste #saveourplanet #thereisnoplanetB #pinkdrink #starbucks #basicaf #environmentallyfriendly #reduce #reuse #recycle

The look on my face when I realize I’ll be lake bound in less than 24 hours 🙌.

#For those of you that saw my story yesterday I'd like to talk about my Endometriosis diagnosis first. In 2011 during a college volleyball game I had a cyst burst on my ovary; at the time I had no idea what the sharp pain was that I was feeling in my pelvic area. Come to find out the cyst that had burst took half of my ovary out (basically looks like something took a bite of it). My husband and I got married in January 2014 and since getting married we stopped using any type of contraception. Fast forward 4 years and we still weren't getting pregnant (although I hadn't been tracking ovulation consistently). At that point we had both decided we were ready to start a family. I started with my OBGYN who referred us to a fertility specialist. After our consult with the specialist we were bluntly told that after for years of not using any protection and not getting pregnant that it was more than just "bad timing"; SOMETHING was getting in the way of us getting pregnant. What can be so frustrating is that so many people tell you "Oh if you don't think about it'll happen", "don't obsess over", etc. FIRST OFF - RUDE. Just because that worked for you doesn't mean that'll it work for us and how insensitive of you to make such generic and hurtful comments when you have zero idea of what our journey to pregnancy has been. OK RANT OVER. I then went through a series of test come to find out I had endometriosis. Growing older I had noticed my periods had been getting heavier and more painful each time and I didn't know why. Endometriosis is a medical condition that occurs when the lining of the uterus, called the endometrium, grows in other places, such as the fallopian tubes, ovaries or along the pelvis. When that lining breaks down, like the regular lining in the uterus that produces the menstruation, it has nowhere to go. So basically, I had a lot of scaring and had blood just sitting in my uterus. To resolve this unfortunate situation, I had surgery May 2018 where our doctor removed the scaring, the extra blood that had been sitting in my uterus, and he had also found another cyst and removed that as well. ➡️CONTINUED IN COMMENTS⬇️
