Some days are so beautiful it’s almost too much to bear. A break in the storm. Ice tipped branches glinting in the sun sparkling against a stormy sky. A day filled with conversation and laughter. A heart bursting with wonder. Almost too much to bear, and yet never too much. Thanks @chelsfleischman for sharing in this beautiful day. ✨

Blessed 🦋

Storms are blowing and the leafs are falling. Fortunately, @janker_ted and @radnm made it out to the mountains before it all blew away and shredded Alamo Vista trail in the golden hour. #transitionsentinel #transitionbikes #janker #girlsthatshred

full heart for all of harper’s guardians out there over the many years of adventure - especially @eatsleepphish + @rjdepalm x

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;  perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5 This Trek was a celebration of more than just my upcoming 30th birthday. It was a chance to give thanks to God for my renewed mind, restored health and redeemed life! Feeling beyond grateful for the relentless love of my family and friends and for a God who has been with me every step of the way. These last few years were difficult to say the least but the growth and strength gained has far outweighed the pain! To Him, the Great Healer, be the glory and honor 🙌🏼 Shout out to @kaelynterry and @carolinawieland for fulfilling my dream with me and trekking a solid 22 miles in 2.5 days. The conversations were life-giving and the laughter was constant. I️ promise @haleymmorris @jane.talley and @classic.zavvie that next time we we won’t ask so many dumb questions! Excited for the best year of life thus far! @wilderness_trek #dirtythirty #stoptherain #kaehateswater #barbgoeswild

Everyday I see them. Thinking about you lately. I don’t know why. Everything is slow now. Trying to get my self out of here. When everything goes wrong, I try to make it make right. Everyone is changing. Everyone is changing, I don’t want to change.

Remembering golden pathways. Just keeping my promise to continue posting fall latergrams until next fall rolls around. 😉🍂✨

What a winter ❄️❄️

I think misty days may be my favorite. Doesn’t really matter what season though misty winter days are high up on the list. I love the anticipation. The unexpectedness. The mystery. Not knowing what will reveal itself as the clouds gather and part. Will the ridge line pop out for a moment, or will it stay hidden? Will the roiling clouds heighten the layers of mountains or obscure them? Yes, definitely love misty days. Do y’all agree?

I never knew how much I loved winter until we started snowshoeing a few years ago. Ski mountains are fun, but the crowds are not. Backcountry trails are so different. The only noises are the trees creaking and groaning in the wind, snowflakes falling softly from the sky, the crunching under your feet, the romping of the dogs up ahead, and your own heartbeat pounding in your ears on the ascents. Of course there are still other people on the trails, but it’s different. It’s like everyone knows we are sharing this sacred, magical, enchanted space and no one wants to disrupt that. Winter in New Mexico has my heart ❤️ #myrtleandtruman #dbandsktravel #newmexico #simplysantafe #newmexicotrue #nmoutside #nmoutdoors #santafe

#tbt to hiking in the snowy mountains of Santa Fe!....sidenote, about 10 mins before this picture Chris nails me right in the face with a snowball!! #snoteverywhere #snowballfight #istillloveyou #travelnewmexico #santafe #hiking #snow #mountains #futurehubs #boo

37 degrees Farenheit up here at nearly 12,000 feet and it’s like Springtime. Where I come from 37 degrees is typically pretty cold....not here, at least not today. It is absolutely beautiful out here!

Last light. Never get tired of the magic ever changing light here. ✨

On the way down today. #skibueno

The three witches in the snow. Curious what I’m talking about? Scroll back in my feed to an October post of these same 3 aspens for the story of the three witches 😉❄️🌨

Aspen glow, from back when there were still traces of fall lying on the snow. 🍂❄️
