This is a new movement that I learned last week. It's a great drill to add to your warmup. It gets the body working in the rotational plane, which is crucial for athletic performance and injury prevention. It's also a great chest opener and forces you to activate your glutes and the muscles in your upper back. #Mountainfit

Had a great workout with this beautiful lady this morning😃💪. I love when other women approach me and ask for training tips. Not to become a bodybuilder, but to just tone up their physique by lifting weights!!! I remember being super intimidated to lift in the gym.. or to go grab some free weights and pretend to know what to do with them . Lol . So today, we did just that.. I got her more comfortable with free weights, learning to focus on isolating the specific muscles you are targeting along with form! Which is key if you want to see results. I’m no personal trainer, but I do have a passion for this thing called “fitness” lol. So I’m happy to share some gym time with others interested in learning more about this weightlifting 🏋️ thang! All I can hope for is that I got her excited about seeing results and turn it into a lifestyle 😁.
