This is a new movement that I learned last week. It's a great drill to add to your warmup. It gets the body working in the rotational plane, which is crucial for athletic performance and injury prevention. It's also a great chest opener and forces you to activate your glutes and the muscles in your upper back. #Mountainfit

If everyday I set just one goal and accomplish it, i promise to be satisfied. ( note to self) . Today my goal was to do 5 sets of 10-12 box jumps at 30”. As well as wall balls, 14lbs 10-12 for 5 sets. ✅😃. My work out also included hiit cardio on spin bike for 15 min.. sled with 35lb weight for 5 min.😰. That was my cardio.. then went for 45 min to back and triceps.. throwing In super and triple sets with abs. Mission accomplished for the day! Feeling good and strong today. Had to start my morning off right. I made sure to sweat as much as possible 💦😰. Also did my best to keep my heart rate high for most of it too. It felt sooo good to sweat out all the toxins from travel and holidays 😝. I’m excited to see what’s in store for me this New Year.. I usually start training for a show about now.. and I have not even had the desire. Well maybe slightly 🤫. But it’s b/c that’s what my normal is/was.. however.. I have decided to stick with @underrated_muscle for a “life style” diet and training program.. I like being held accountable. And no one better than Dave and my teammates to continue to inspire me every day 💪😃. So here’s to a fresh start!! 200 lbs smooth and easy single for my last heavy squat of 2018! Only four pounds less than my meet PR and at a commercial gym with a crappy, slippery bar, no gym friends, and no chalk. Lately squats have felt weak and kinda off. Wasn’t sure how a week of too much food and drink would affect things. In addition to a slightly tighter belt, looks like the too much food part helped more than the top much drink part hurt! Really thankful for all I’ve learned from @strength_union this past year! #girlswhopowerlift #squats

Working on a new me! Starting to like it more and more 😘. It was taking my metabolism a while to get going again since my last show. I’ve started doing HIIT cardio for 15 min/5-6 days a week before my lifts. It seems to be working! I’m starting to burn fat again, losing weight, feeling hungry all The time 😃 and having more energy!
