This is a new movement that I learned last week. It's a great drill to add to your warmup. It gets the body working in the rotational plane, which is crucial for athletic performance and injury prevention. It's also a great chest opener and forces you to activate your glutes and the muscles in your upper back. #Mountainfit

First day back to the globo-gym (excited to start lifting with my friend @xl31ghx soon!!) and thought I'd share that I am officially down 25 # since quitting drinking last December. Feeling really proud to have been alcohol free for almost a year now. I'm especially happy to be seeing visible evidence of the hard work it's been to stay sober. Honestly, I want to drink almost every day, but being able to look in the mirror and see myself healthier than I used to be, definitely helps me stay on track. Looking forward to the next year!

Final burn out shoulder/chest/tri pump this morning. It hurt so good. Plus knowing that I’m closing in on a long 15 week prep is a major accomplishment 😃 I’ve put in nothing but 💯 the entire prep. All day if I can. I’m currently in an XXS and my waist is measuring around 27in. Hoping to be close to 26/25 on stage.. I’m not a curvy girl. I’m very straight and boxy in my mid section. So it’s extremely important for me to try and shape my mid section for that 🦋 tapered waist. Always trying to bring to stage the physique the judges are looking for. I get really frustrated with my legs during prep. Although I think it’s common for most women to hold water in their legs in general, but when your training for a competition... you want to start seeing shredded muscles everywhere .. and my legs are the last to lean out 🙄.
