‼️EZ Bar 21s are my go to for Bicep work - Just doing these for 2-3 sets is taxing and will give you a massive pump. For the people who don’t know what 21s are, it’s 7 bottom half reps, 7 top half reps, and 7 full reps. It’s suppose to be challenging so don’t go for that light weight. We lift together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays where we work on one of the 3 main lifts. so on the remaining 3 days i’m doing my hypertrophy work. starting this new routine this week so i’ll see how it goes

After an 11 hour shift, sure felt good to have a bit of me time. Although I was tired and it can feel easier to stay home and rest, I decided to head to the gym and get a good workout. Currently not trying to lift too heavy, mainly looking to get higher reps in. I'm just trying to improve my over all physique. So I decided to train one week heavy and another week light. #MotivationMonday . Get your ass in the gym whether you’re tired or not. I did not want to go to the gym today, especially when it’s a heavy leg day. . Luckily, I dragged myself to the gym & it was one of the best leg days I’ve had in months. Honestly. I warmed up and stretched a little more than usual so that probably had something to do with it. . I worked up to a heavy triple for 3 sets squats and then went into DL’s for heavy doubles for 3 sets. Everything felt great, no pain anywhere. Usually something will bother me after heavy squats whether it’s my hips, knees, ankles, or back lol . Hopefully this will inspire you to get your ass in the gym even if you don’t feel like it. One of my favorite exercises for adding thickness/size to the triceps is the tricep dip! . I prefer to use the machine so I can go heavy and adjust the weight as needed. Stick to a heavy weight for 8-10 reps for the first four sets. Finish your last set, drop the weight by 30% and rep it out to failure! Drop it another 30% and rep out to failure one more time. . This will have your triceps screaming! ⠀⠀ My (Day B) exercise: Back, biceps, legs ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Weighted chin-up: 3 sets (6 reps, 8, reps, 8 reps) start heavy, and drop 20lbs each time. Also: new PR alert 🚨 I hit 70 lbs for 4 reps! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Dumbbell bicep curls: I started doing a different variation where your back and arms is pinned up against the seat, this gives you great isolation. Start light and build your way up. 3 sets 10 reps.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Bulgarian split squats: I like switching up between this and a regular squat. 4 sets 6-8 reps each leg start light and build your way up. Lean in to focus more on your quad. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Romanian dumbbell dead lift: great compliment to Bulgarian split squat. Start light and build your way up. 4 sets 8-12 reps ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Face pulls: start light as an activation set, then increase the weight. 1 light activation set 12-15 reps. 3 sets of heavier weight going up 2.5lbs each time you hot your rep range ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Calf raises: 3 sets x 10 reps: you can isolate each leg or do both with and pound dumbbell of your choice. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ #kinobody #greekgood #fitness #nevergiveup #alphalete
