Here are some fun facts about me. • My husband Tyler and I have been together more than 10 years (we started dating when I was 15!). 😱 • We have a toddler named Clay ( #clayfindlay) and a little girl coming in March ( #babyvanertroundtwo). 💙💗 • I would eat sushi or mashed potatoes every day of my life if I could. • I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars movies. • I’ve read 89 books so far in 2019. It’s definitely my favorite hobby! • I’m 85% done with Christmas shopping. I make a list and then start buying sometime in October. Next year I’m going to buy all year round so it’s even easier! 25 weeks and baby is the size of a prairie dog, which definitely made me laugh. 😂 I’ve been getting charlie horses and reflux fairly often lately which isn’t something I missed about being pregnant. But other than that, I feel pretty good most of the time! It’s getting harder to tote my 30-pound toddler around, so it’s a good thing that he’s getting better at holding our hands and walking next to us. 😁 #babyvanertroundtwo

22 weeks and baby is apparently the size of an ear of corn. 🌽 She likes to move a TON and that’s definitely my favorite part about being pregnant. Not much new to report around here other than I get to have an extra ultrasound in about a month because my placenta is sitting slightly low and my doctor wants to keep an eye on it. I’m sitting right smack dab in the middle of the honeymoon phase of being pregnant — not sick anymore or overly fatigued, but also not huge and achy and unwieldy. So we had an ultrasound today. THAT ultrasound. 😱👶🏼 Baby was movin and groovin literally the whole time. The ultrasound tech said she got him or her from just about every angle imaginable! As of this very minute, the tech and Tyler are the only ones who know if this baby is a boy or a girl. 🤭 Tyler’s in charge of our little gender reveal next week, so that’s why he knows and I don’t. It just might kill me! My guess is that it’s another boy, but I would also LOVE a little girl. Stay tuned! #babyvanertroundtwo

WOOOAH WE’RE HALFWAY THEEERE. 🤘🏻 20 weeks have already gone by with this little one. I have a feeling that the second half will drag because it covers the entirety of a Wisconsin winter. 🥶 Lots of round ligament pain and some pregnancy insomnia these last few weeks. Other than that, all is well! We have my mid-pregnancy ultrasound this week and will be doing a little gender reveal next week. Can’t believe it’s already that time! #babyvanertroundtwo

19 weeks today! 🤩 Feelin like a normal human being who can eat things and not feel like throwing up most of the time, which is a win. Quite a bit of round ligament pain the last week or so, but that’s really the only symptom I’ve had lately. Also, it looks like I’ve cut off ALL my hair, but I promise it’s only most of it. 😂 It’s shorter than I had planned on and I haven’t gotten a chance to style it yet, so a hat it is (unless I want to look like a Backstreet Boy🕺🏼). #babyvanertroundtwo

Did she eat too many tacos or is that a baby bump? 🌮👶🏼 Probably both. Had my first doctor appointment today, so I thought I’d share an update on my first trimester. Overall, my main symptoms have been fatigue and nausea. I’m USUALLY okay if I keep something in my stomach and have been feeling less and less sick lately, so hopefully that pukey feeling is gone soon! With Clay, I threw up EVERY DAY until about 16wks, so this is much better. I’ve had two ultrasounds so far and everything looks the way it should. I’m healthy and so is baby. I missed my OB so much and was so happy to see her again today.
