We randomly went to the gym from 8-closing (which I literally never do bc I usually go to bed at like 9) but I surprisingly had energy through the entire workout! It tugged in weird ways and was uncomfortable, so I quit after 4 reps and bid my favorite core exercise adieu until after this baby is born 💙 • I was listening to a Spotify workout playlist called Beast Mode and a song called “Rejoice” by Steve Angello came on, and dang did it get me fired up thinking about L&D and really getting control of the mind in this last leg of pregnancy. I’m not particularly religious (at all, really), but that song really spoke to me - especially his Dorothy / Wizard of Oz analogy. Today was a great therapeutic day at the gym. 🙏💯 definitely much needed. The gym has always been a place where I can do my own thing and just forget about the normal world. SWIPE AND SAVE ➡️Yesterday’s all-accessory upper body (back, shoulders, biceps) workout. I love training powerlifting style but I miss bodybuilding exercises sometimes!! Gotta work on that #aesthetic too ya know? 💁🏻‍♀️ . . . 1️⃣Dropset lat pulldowns. 60lb for 8 reps, then 50 for 8, then 40 for 8. No rest in between dropsets. Total sets: 9 2️⃣Shotgun cable rows: 3 sets of 12-15 per arm 3️⃣Cable bicep curls 3x12 per arm 4️⃣Cable front raise 3x12 per side 5️⃣Cable side raise 3x12 per side 6️⃣Weighted bar front raise 3x12 7️⃣Cross body bicep curls 3x12 . . .
