what do you like to do when you’re sick?🤧🤒 today, I’m sick. I didn’t go to school, and I rested. I tried to do some biology...but I just felt worse. I always feel guilty when I don’t work, or am just lazy the whole day. But you know what? It’s ok to rest. If you don’t feel well you should take time to rest and get better. - so today I did things that make me feel good (and watched @christieswalding a lot😅) I stretched a little played with my dogs filled out my daily affirmations book (i fill in things eg what I’m grateful for, what was good about my day etc) drank tons of water took some photos and... slept I hope you all have an amazing today, remember it’s ok the rest💆🏼‍♀️🧖🏼‍♀️💅🏼

It's a mental game. It's ALL a mental game. It doesn't matter if it is a goal in life, fitness, faith, financial situations, relationships, work... you CANNOT achieve your goals if you don't start with your mind first. There WILL BE downs, bumps in the road, struggles, negative Nancy's, plateaus, two steps back and then two more steps back. There will be frustrations, lack of support, reasons to quit, voices (even your own) saying you can't. There WILL BE times when you stop, when you throw your hands up and when you take a break from it all. Those are neccessary to reach your goals. There is not one successfull person alive that did not struggle on the way. Ask the most successful person you know, if they are honest they will tell you. BUT... I can guarantee they will also tell you not to quit. Being strong and determined in your MIND means you can do anything. That's why the old saying is "You can do anything you put your mind to." Pretty sound words. FIND A WAY. DECIDE. COMMIT. SUCCEED. That squat... should have had weights, instead I have loops. I tweaked my back again. My body is being troublesome as I try to figure out my thyroid more. I have been the negative Nancy and my own "you can quit now voice" for a few weeks. I got in my feelings and out of my head. No more. I will do what it takes to keep moving forward. I am not a quitter. I may not smile the whole time but I will be all in. I love working on my PD while driving for work!! I’m already on Chapter 8 of @atomic_habits (which I started this morning) and am LOVING it!!! I highly recommend this book!!! And look what arrived on my doorstep today: High Performance Habits by @brendonburchard !! (Not to mention all the podcasts I listen to and the fact that I’m also reading Girl Wash Your Face by @msrachelhollis and The 131 Method by @chalenejohnson 😂🤷🏼‍♀️) Transformation happens both on the outside AND on the inside!!! Don’t have a lot of time to sit down and read? Give audio books and podcasts a try. I was skeptical at first, but I quickly fell in love with them! (T is for Transformation by @shaunt was my first audio book. 🥰)

Easy meals = best meals AM👏🏻 I 👏🏻 RIGHT 👏🏻 // I was recommended the tandoori veggie mix from @traderjoes by my wonderful nutrition classmate @danajfnutrition and honestly it is a new staple in my pantry 💥 This dish took about a half hour to make and prep for 3 other meals! Here’s what I did: 1️⃣ Make rice 2️⃣ Bake chicken thighs with fun spices like cumin, paprika, and parsley (400F for ~20-25 min) 3️⃣ MICROWAVE (omg yes 🙏🏻) the tandoori veg mix for a minute like it says on the package 4️⃣ Sauté @traderjoes cruciferous veg mix with frozen peas and garlic 5️⃣ Plate everything together and enjoy this super flavorful and filling dish 🥳 at Boston, Massachusetts

Do you believe in spirit animals?
