Good afternoon lovelies! It happened, it FINALLY happened! I ordered some more persimmons from @imperfectproduce 😍😍😍 and I’m in HEAVEN this morning 💃🏽(first time trying this heavenly food)⠀ ⠀ Before we started setting up our new dining set I made some warm turmeric rice cereal with chia and pumpkin seeds, banana, goji berry’s, cacao nibs and #persimmons 🤤 I added some maple syrup and almond milk just before eating 🥄 This is the 1st time I’ve made turmeric cereal, so if you happen to try it don’t add too much or it’ll become too strong of a taste (a good shake or 2 will suffice). Das sieht ja schon fast so aus, als hätten wir Tannenzweige mit auf's Bild gelegt 😄🌲 Es ist aber einfach nur Rosmarin ☝🏻😊 Das hier sind Walnuss-Bratkartoffeln 😋 Ihr braucht für 2 Portionen: ➡️400 g festkochende Kartoffeln, 1 rote Zwiebel, 1 Knoblauchzehe, 1 Zweig Rosmarin, 1 Hand voll Walnüsse, 1 Tomate, Petersilie, Olivenöl, Salz, Pfeffer, eine Avocado, 1/2 Fetakäse 1️⃣Kocht die Kartoffeln gar schneidet sie in dicke Scheiben und lasst sie abkühlen. 2️⃣Würfelt die Zwiebel, die Knoblauchzehe, die Avocado und die Tomate. Hackt die Kräuter und die Nüsse. 3️⃣Bratet die Kartoffeln goldbraun an und gebt nach 5 Minuten die Tomate, die Zwiebel, die Knoblauchzehe, die Kräuter und die Nüsse dazu. 4️⃣Zerbröckelt den Feta und gebt die Avocadostücke darüber 5️⃣Jetzt nur noch mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken 😋🥑

The concern today would be the shifting winds. At its peak the fire was less than a mile from our farm. Peas & potatoes from @thebirdfeednyc ~ arugula, roasted garlic baby potatoes, peas, an avocado rose with sesame seeds & purple cabbage 🌱 dressing (not pictured): lemon, tahini, water, garlic, sea salt & pepper 💛 roasted garlic baby potatoes: • 1 lb. baby potatoes • 2 garlic cloves, minced • 1 tsp olive oil (can omit) • salt & pepper - Preheat your oven to 425 F - Cut potatoes in half and toss with the olive oil, garlic, salt & pepper. - Place on a baking sheet (I lined mine with a silicone baking mat) and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until the outsides are crisp and the insides are soft, turning halfway through cooking time. #bestofavocado

Kennt ihr die Pasta Crema di funghi vom Vapiano? 😏Die Sauce haben wir heute nachgemacht und anstatt zu Nudeln mit Reis und Avocado zusammen gegessen 😊🥑 Dazu bratet ihr Zwiebeln, Knoblauch und Champignons an, löscht sie mit Weißwein und etwas Sahne ab und lasst das ganze etwas weiter köcheln 😊 Wir haben dann noch ein paar gefrorene Kräuter wie Petersilie und Schnittlauch dazu gegeben und natürlich Salz und Pfeffer 😋 nommiii 😍

Ahhhhh, it feels weird not being in the kitchen as much as I used to 🙊 Do you ever get that feeling when you’re too busy? ⠀ ⠀ With my new workout classes, school pickup and drop off, visiting friends (I know, tough life right? 😅) it’s been hard not eating my own food 😬 I DID however have a replacement meal smoothie from a store I frequent close to home the other day, so it helps when busy to have a go to place!⠀ ⠀ This is a smoothie I made between my yoga class and picking up my kindergartener yesterday. Keine Angst, unser Blog bleibt vegetarisch 😄🌱 Dieser Burgerpatty ist von der Marke my best veggi von Lidl - ist aber eher weniger eine Empfehlung von uns. Die selbst gemachten Gemüsebratlinge sind auf jeden Fall leckerer 😄👍🏼 Für diesen Burger haben wir eine ganz einfache Sauce gezaubert: Dafür haben wir schwarze Oliven, Olivenöl, Oregano, Knoblauch, Salz und Pfeffer püriert 😍 So lecker 😋 Ein weiteres Special auf diesem Burger ist unser selbst gemachtes Onion jam. Hierfür haben wir Zwiebeln angedünstet und mit Ahornsirup abgelöscht 😊 On top noch etwas gebratene Champignons und Avocado 🥑 und fertig 👍🏼😊

🤤 Such a yummy morning snack!... 🚨Knobi-Lover aufgepasst: Heute gibt es von uns den ultimativen Trick für alle Knoblauch-Fans 😍: Das Baguette für die Bruschetta haben wir erst in einer Pfanne geröstet (Ofen geht auch) und dann eine Knoblauchzehe darüber gerieben. Wenn schon denn schon 😏🥑 So nach dem ganzen Knobi machen wir uns mal lieber einen entspannten Abend zuhause vor dem Fernseher 😄

SOUP 🍲 of the week 💕Zuppa Toscana ✅ 4-5 Med Potatoes ✅ 1.5-2 lbs of Hot ITALIAN Sausage ✅ A bunch of Kale ✅ 1 pint of heavy whipped cream ✅ head of garlic ✅ one medium onion Start by sautéing the garlic & onion, finely chopped. Add in some salt and pepper. Set aside. Fry the Italian Sausage in the skillet, pat down the grease when finished. Meanwhile, put 10-12 cups of water to boil, once boiled add in diced potatoes for soup. Side Note:Either add in bouillon for flavoring, make your own chicken broth or use half water and half broth for your soup base. Once potatoes are almost done, add in onion, garlic and Italian sausage & get it to boil. Simmer the soup, keep on low. Add Salt and Pepper to Taste. ALMOST LAST STEP: Add 1 Cup of Heavy Whip into the soup & mix. I keep the kale out of the soup and add individually so it doesn’t wilt over time. Eat & Serve & Save

Weekly cookies 🙌🏻 This recipe is so easy, all you need is 1 can chickpeas, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of honey or rice malt syrup and blend well in food processor then add in whatever fillings you like ( nuts, berries, chocolate) Then bake them for around 15-20. Who has tried them!? This week I️ added a little cinnamon and a handful of walnuts and they were so good 🤤

#Ayurveda101 —> #doshas and #winter Mi cuerpo tiene mucho aire. Me enfrío más rápido de lo normal. Por eso, se dice que la energía que “gobierna” mi universo es #vata (air+space). Los días fríos y lluviosos, aunque acostada en las cobijas me hacen feliz, me retan más, energéticamente, que los días soleados. Mi cuerpo se enfría más rápido que otros cuerpos que tienen, por ejemplo, más fuego o tierra, en su sistema. En Ayurveda, entendemos que el frío no es sólo superficial, sino que también lo perciben mis órganos internos. Este frío vuelve un poco más lentos los procesos, como naturalmente es el ritmo del invierno. En invierno, nos movemos más lento. Es parte de nuestro mecanismo de supervivencia; proteger la energía y no gastarla demasiado rápido. Cuando hace frío, trato de cuidar mi temperatura interna; tomo bebidas calientes, consumo alimentos y especias que aumenten mi temperatura interna y que me ayuden a conservarla. Desde que le abrí mi alma a una alimentación más intuitiva, me sorprendo constantemente con lo conectado que está todo; mi cuerpo, cuando hace frío, no sólo me pide comidas calientes, sino también densas y un poco más grasosas (healthy oils/fats). Descubrir cómo la teoría Ayurveda y TCM (Chinese Medicine) reafirman mi intuición me lleva a enamorarme todos los días más de mi cuerpo, de mi espíritu y mi deseo de vivir conectada con el aquí y el ahora. Por estos días el cuerpo me pide cacao (aumenta el flujo de sangre, sube la temperatura, abre el corazón), aguacate y nueces (grasas saludables que me ayudan a conservar mi energía interna). Making friends with salad 😏 Grab a bag of mixed lettuce leaves, tomatoes and your protein of choice, i’ve used Thai marinated tofu. Then roast some chickpeas in the oven with paprika/olive oil/salt and pepper & roast some butternut pumpkin untill golden brown also. While that’s cooking, fry some pine nuts and walnuts on the stove with a little bit of @niulife teriyaki sauce ( this is so good please try this!) once it’s all ready, make the dressing which is just olive oil, honey and apple cider vinegar and salt and pepper 🙌🏻Then prior to serving, add in some feta and the dressing 👌🏻

Guten Abend, ihr lieben Avocado-Fans! ☺️💚 Habt Ihr Lust morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück in den Tag zu starten? 😋 Dann bereitet euch am besten heute Abend schon diesen leckeren Avocado-Chiapudding vor ☺️☝🏼 Für den 'normalen' Chiapudding einfach 150 ml (Soja-)Milch mit 30 g Chiasamen verrühren und über Nacht in den Kühlschrank stellen. ❄️ Für die süße Avocadocreme haben wir 50 g Avocado, 50 ml Sojamilch, 1/2 EL Kokosblütensirup und 1 EL Chiasamen püriert und ebenfalls über Nacht in den Kühlschrank gepackt ⛄️ Am nächsten Tag dann noch den Chiapudding mit 1 TL Zimt verrühren, die Avocadocreme unter mischen und mit Früchten toppen. 😍🍇🥑🍌👍
