〽️LIGHT or HEAVY-WEIGHT⁉️ . . Whoever said the only way to get muscles is to lift ‘heavy’ is a complete dumbass. 🤷🏽‍♂️ . . In my 4 years of lifting, to me the best way to make muscle is to lift with good form. It doesn’t matter whether you are lifting the smallest weights or the biggest weights in the gym. . . . In the clip from 2015, I was actually curling heavier dumbbells than the ones in 2019 BUT this doesn’t mean that you should stick to the same weights all the time. Its always crucial to lift weights PROPERLY and GRADUALLY.🧠 . . I’m very big on this because fixing your form can do wonders for your muscles. From time to time I switch it up, I could lift heavy with good form (as much as possible) and most of the time I go up in weight gradually (especially for smaller muscle groups), this doesn’t mean you’re weak... its your own body, your own preference and once you figure out what WORKS for your body then you stick to that. 👌 . . In the most part, if you’re a beginner in the gym or you’ve had past experiences in the gym or go to the gym frequently and see very minimal results. I suggest to always start with light weight so that you can perform quality reps of 12-10-8 (increasing gradually each set), WHENEVER you see yourself SWINGING the weight doing curls. Then that’s a pretty good indicator that you should go down in weight.🧬 . . What you should know is that fitness, especially when it involves lifting weights… is a MARATHON not a SPRINT. NEVER risk lifting heavy just to impress people who don’t give a fuck.💯 . . . You can’t expect to do the same weights as other people in the gym because you never really know how long they’ve been in the gym. . . YOU SHOULD go to the gym to focus on yourself, so my best advice for beginners or people who see very minimal results is to start with LIGHTWEIGHT and LEAVE your ego out the door, because state the facts here... WHY else would you be lifting heavy. 🤔 . . What you should understand is that WHY should you CARE if people see you lifting LIGHT-weight.
