Your muscles will either grow or they won’t so let’s focus on building the gluteal muscles and strengthening the muscles of the hip to create a round & perky set of glutes! Here ya go 👇🏼 ✏️Cable Side Lying Circle Kicks I am creating a half circle with my foot that is through the handle bar. You can also use an ankle cuff as well. ✏️Quadruped Hip Int/Ext Rotations I demo with and without a pad, you choose! I prefer to be down on my forearms than up on my hands (personally preference). I am allowing the cuffed ankle to travel towards the pulley creating an external rotations of my hip and then immediately away from the pulley to create an internal rotation of my hip. You will also see some reps with my ankle staying low and some with my ankle lifted high. This exercise is a next level hip burner 🥵🙌🏼. MUST TRY LADIES! ✏️Prone Bench Banded Abductions Inclined bench and then immediately followed by a flat bench. The band is placed below my knee. Sorry, the last part of the clip is chopped. Transformation TUESDAY! Jk. The only transformation made since these photos were taken [3 hours ago] is that I’ve showered, my hair is messIER, and I’ve had 4 slices of cauliflower pizza paired with a bowl of cereal for dinner. #offseason But can I be real a minute? My motivation and discipline both have been WAY off this week. Nonexistent almost. It’s one month to the date since my show. I haven’t weighed myself in a few days. I’ve been a little more lax on my meals than I should have been, and tomorrow is the office Thanksgiving dinner. 😰😂 Do I tend to still beat myself up when I treat myself or just all out have a hard time focusing on tracking my food? Absofreakinlutely. I could sit here and preach that it’s normal to feel these things but it’s not. It’s not healthy or normal. But I’m working on it. Praying on it. Pushing through because that’s just what I know to do and the only way I know how. Cardio is still up to 15-20 mins post workout and fasted is aimed at 2-3 days but this past week.. ZERO. 💃🏻 Yolo. Or something? That’s what the kids are saying right?

Setting goals is the most important skill in becoming successful. Only 3% of adults have written goals, and everyone else works for them. Before setting goals, we must have an end point. The first step is to decide exactly what you want in every key area of your life. . Start off by Idealizing. Imagine that there are no limitations on what you can be, have or do. Imag­ine that you have all the time and money, all the friends and contacts, all the education and experience that you need to accomplish any goal you can set for yourself. Imagine that you could wave a magic wand and make your life perfect in key areas of your life. . 1. FINANCIAL – how much do you want to earn this year, next year and five years from today? 2. SOCIAL – what kind of a lifestyle do you want to create for yourself and your family? 3. HEALTH – how would your health be different if it was perfect in every way? 4. OCCUPATIONAL – how much do you want to save and accumulate in the course of your working lifetime? . Another approach is the three Goal Method. I personally use this approach as it’s hard to focus on more than three goals at a time. To use this method, in less than 30 seconds, write down your three most important goals in life, right now. Write quickly. Whatever your answer to this “Quick List Method” way of writing three goals it is probably an accurate picture of what you really want in life. . Once you have selected the areas you want to optimize, we need to begin developing goals. In a future post, I am going to explain the science behind goal setting and how you can use goal setting to make continuous improvements, and double and even triple your productivity! . A few days ago I waa talking to a close friend about goals for the week. Mine was to sign 2 new clients this week and hit 495 on deadlifts. Welp not only did i hit 495 raw, i went up to 515 with straps!!!!!!!! I was so emotional tbh. There are times where things won't go you way, but THIS did. I was in complete control of the outcome, and i could've quit at the first sign of some serious resistance. I didnt. I wanted it badddd. When you hit a little resistance, dont quit if its something you want. COMPOUND LIFTS ⭐️ This morning, the saint that is @shals_n.fit helped me work on my deadlift form so I can start adding this great compound movement into my routine! Compound exercises are those involving multiple muscle groups/joints, whereas isolation exercises work just one particular muscle. Because they engage so many parts of the body, multi-joint lifts allow for more general muscle growth through time efficient means. They also provide greater range of motion as various muscles are experiencing progressive overload. Overall, integrating compound exercises leads to improved results with changing body composition and still staying proportional!
