“How do you stay motivated all the time?” - one of the questions I get asked the most. Truth: I don’t. Today I’m not motivated. I don’t feel like training and it will show - I’ll probably complain later about how weak I felt. It’s mostly in my head but also the fact that I got no sleep last night. What gets me to the gym every day though is HABIT. I am used to going every day, whether I get a good workout or not. In the end, something always turns out to be better than absolutely nothing. ONE PAN CHEESY BBQ RANCH CHICKEN SKILLET . ✔1 tablespoon olive oil ✔4 chicken thighs ✔salt and pepper to taste ✔1/4 cup BBQ sauce ✔1 can of corn ✔1 can of black beans ✔1/4 cup cilantro, chopped ✔1/4 cup Cilantro ✔Lime Ranch dressing ✔1 1/2 cups white rice ✔ 1 cup chicken broth ✔1 1/2 cups water ✔1/2 cup Mexican blend cheese ✔2 roma tomatoes, diced ✔Green onion, and avocado . Directions . 1⃣Preheat oven to 350F Heat oil in a large (12 inch) and deep skillet over medium high heat. Season chicken on each side with salt and pepper to taste. . 2 ⃣Place chicken skin side down in the skillet and cook each side for 5 minutes. Brush each side with bbq sauce while the other side cooks. Place chicken on a plate and set aside. Add corn and beans to the empty skillet (leaving the leftover oil in the skillet is fine) and allow to grill for 2-3 minutes. . 3 ⃣Stir in the cilantro and ranch and stir to combine. Pour in the rice and stir to allow the rice to be coated in the ranch/oil mixture. Add the broth, water, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine. Place chicken back into the skillet as shown above. . 4 ⃣They will be about half way covered in the liquid. No need to stir, just set them right on top. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the cheese and tomatoes. Return to the oven for 5-10 more minutes or until cheese is fully melted and chicken is cooked through. . 5 ⃣Garnish with more cilantro, green onion, and avocado if desired. I often hit points of wanting to stop lifting and working out, asking why am I even doing this? look at those guys over there looking way better than me in the gym. eventually concluding I will never get to the level I want to be at EVER!!!!!. 👇🏻 Mi etapa de VOLUMEN de 8 meses, resumida en 4 fotos . 1- 75kg 2- 79kg 3- 82kg 4- 85,5kg . En orden de seguir ganando tamaño e hipertrofiar, debemos estar en superávit calórico, es decir, consumir más calorías de las que nuestro cuerpo gasta, para generar un “entorno calórico” y que el músculo pueda recuperarse en tiempo, forma y mayor tamaño. . El ascenso de peso lo hice de forma muy medida y paulatina, primero para que mi metabolismo se vaya acostumbrando a aprovechar las calorías adicionales que le fui dando, y por otro lado, para no ganar grasa y taparme repentinamente. . Es muy importante subir muy de a poco las calorías cuando estamos en la transición de una etapa de definición o adelgazamiento a una de volumen e hipertrofia. . La etapa de definición la terminé con 2.000 calorías diarias, y la de volumen terminó en 3.850 calorías diarias! Ahora, en los próximos 60 días estaré definiendo para sacar la grasa ganada en esta última etapa! #gohardorgohome

Birthmarks, natures way of providing you with your very own personal tattoo. We used to believe this was caused by diaper rash when I was a baby but now come to think about it leans more towards birthmark(left oblique) what the hell would my diaper be doing all the way up there anyways right LOL. Honestly, we can be so hard on ourselves because we don’t have the “perfect” body tv, magazines, social media portrait what a perfect body looks like. I came to the point in my life where whatever people, tv, social media portrait how one should look do not influence me anymore. I’m my own character in my own little story line. I have created a life for me to live the way I want to live and that’s something that’s going to the grave with me. What I have found most successful in building muscle mass IN the gym starting out: . 1.)Pyramid Sets Build up in weight while decreasing your reps. Example: Lift 25 lbs for 12 reps, then 30lbs for 10 reps, 35lbs for 8, then 40lbs for 6 reps. 2.)Track your workouts and weight progression in a notebook, so you know what weight to start with on your next cycle of that muscle group! 3.)Work one muscle group per day, then on the 6th day of the week do your favorite workouts from each muscle group, the 7th day of the week is a rest day. 4.)Abs twice a week. 5.)Consume @1stphorm BCAA's (just my brand of preference) during your workout. *link in bio for free shipping* 👊💣💥
