SWIPE FOR A KILLER LEG DAY 🔥 . I did this workout yesterday and, I’m not kidding you, my legs were on fire! . 3️⃣ sets of 8️⃣ on all exercises: 1) Hack squat SUPERSET W/ split squat 2) Reverse lunges 3) Cable squats SUPERSET W/ step ups 4) Wide stance db squats SUPERSET W/ cable pistol squats . I could barely do the pistol squats at the end because my legs were shaking so much . Have fun and you can thank me later 😉 . Let me know if you try it👇🏻

I used to HATE behind the neck shoulder press because it hurt and I’d be extremely sore for a week after so I never did them.😩⁣ ⁣ Some exercises are like that and that’s a good thing! Creatine👇🏼 - I get asked numerous questions about this supplement. I want to first establish what creatine is and why it’s crucial for our bodies. - Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid that occurs naturally in vertebrates. Its main role is to facilitate recycling of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). That happens to be the energy currency of the cell, primarily in muscle and brain tissue. - Creatine causes muscles to draw water from the rest of your body. I tell my customers to be sure to drink extra water to make up for this. Also, if you are taking creatine, there is going to be other supplements you’ll need to take. I’ll go over this shortly. - Many people have a misunderstanding that creatine causes weight gain. Slightly true, but creatine causes the muscles to hold water which is where you want the water to be. With more creatine comes more stress on your kidneys and liver. Which is why I suggest taking a liver guard, fish oil, and of course, multivitamins to compensate. - Creatine is for athletic performance meaning that you should be active if you are supplementing it. Many different dosing regimens have been used but studies have shown that a short-term "loading dose" followed by a long-term maintenance dose works best. Loading doses are typically 10-35 grams daily for 4-10 days. Maintenance doses are typically 2-9 grams daily. - Creatine has been the most studied supplement and it shows great results when it comes to improving power output. Better power output means more strength and more strength means better training sessions. With that said, YES, women can take it and I encourage that they do! - Hope this helps clear up the supplement because I know some people may have such a negative outlook on it. Just know what needs to be done when you are taking it and I can guarantee it’ll be the supplement that helps show improvement! at Main Street Muscle and Fitness Center
