Monday Lesson: Its definitely not financially cheap to live a healthy fit lifestyle. Monthly gym memberships, choosing healthier produce/ snacks, transportation to and from the gym, meal prepping, buying home equipment, and gym gear! I have come with some tips to help everyone ballin on a budget to keep on that healthy lifestyle. 1. If you live in a city, if your close to a metro train station, uber pool to the metro and get off at the stop closest to the gym, and uber from there, if cost efficient. 2. Groceries: If you cannot afford healthy snacks or vegan items, choose snacks like nuts, bars, etc from the dollar store or online apps that have % deals. I find buying in bulk once a month spending $200 lasts me, so I wont have to be buying food every 2 weeks. Expirations on meats, freeze to extend the life. 3. Choose a gym that makes sense to you, not one that costs extra due to luxuries. The YMCA, is a great cheap option. Or invest in a home gym, buy the weights/ equipment for cheaper on ebay or craigslist/ goodwill. Avoid monthly memberships/ transportation costs 4.Take advantage of home workouts 5. Avoid buying too many gym clothes, name brands like Nike and Adidas are not cheap. Have 1-2 go to outfits, keep black leggings. Full Day of Eating 👨🏾‍🍳 I want to start this off by giving credit to my coach @besickfit . He has been my coach for almost two years now and handles all my nutrition. He has taught me all that I know and in my opinion is THE BEST trainer in the midwest. I don't care if you are a bodybuilder, powerlifter, or a personal trainer, you need to find yourself a trainer or a mentor. If you are my age (21 years old) and think you do not need guidance and mentoring and plan on making it in this industry or making progress, good luck. Surrounding yourself with people smarter than you will put yourself a head of the competition. Here is my full day of eating. I am 12 days out from my photoshoot so my caloric intake is pretty low, especially my carbs. I aim to hit 190gs of Protein, 50gs of Fat, and 100gs of Carbs. I am 190lbs, 6ft tall, and about 8% body fat, so these last few weeks have been a struggle to say the least 😂. My main sources of protein come from Pork, Beef, Egg Whites, and Whey Protein. My sources of fat come from my Meats and Healthy Oils. & my main sources of carbs come from Greens, Cauliflower (mashed), and Oats. I started off my day with a protein shake and oats before my work out. Followed by some egg whites (not cooked with butter) and 2 tbsps of ketchup for my post workout meal. Then, I had some steak, peas, and cauliflower mash after school. After that, I had another protein shake after my cardio. Lastly, I had some pork and peas after work to finish out my day. I use the handy app @cronometer_official to track all my food through out the day.

Instead of doing squats you can do goblet squats with a dummbell💪🏼 I hope you guys enjoy it! Conditioning: trap bar pause deadlift to high pull, med slams, side tosses. Main work: KB front squats, axle deadlifts 3-2-1 second double pauses, off weight trap deadlifts(awesome for obliques)..last set with 450 totally kicked my ass..couldn’t keep my lats tight..couldn’t finish the set. You guessed it...LEGS BABY💪🏻 There’s just no better feeling than throbbing glutes😂 @mrmannyfitness & I did 3 supersets for today’s lower body training & the intensity had me burningg🔥 Here’s one of them from this morning that incorporates some of the basics, but are two of my favs to really isolate the glutes🍑 Peep the end when I’m caught dancing💃🏼 . . 1️⃣Lunges 4x15 keep constant tension on the glutes & then dance afterwards 2️⃣Kickbacks 4x15 @savagefitclub

Totally forgot I had this video , was going to post a couple of days ago but I caught up with cleaning and decluttering stuff. Also from being sick 😷 . Feeling better but still not quite there. - On Friday, i was ready for squats. I wasnt expecting to hit a PR .. I was going to do chest and triceps that day but I was planning that for Saturday instead. Which we all know never happened 😩 anyway I was pumped..it was hot assss fawwwwwk but I was super pumped.. I managed to squat 275x2 . To me it felt alright like I wanted to go up in weight so 285lbs it was..
