Here it is. That advanced ab circuit I was talking about. You can do it from a mat if you don’t have a BOSU. It will make #2 even tougher though! 15-20 reps of each, then a 1 min plank hold at the end. Repeat! Repeat again 😬 Do it now or save it for later. Let me know if you need a modification. It gives me an opportunity to train all the new muscle I've built to coordinate together and keep me stable. . It's also great to strengthen the joints which helps to prevent injury. . To all my people with ankle issues out there -- this would be a great one to help rebuild! . Or anyone looking to train a different muscle group than normal - the stabilizers! . Save it and give it a try! . 1. Mark three dots on the ground: center, left, and right. Hold the ball in your opposite hand. Bounce the ball on each spot, repeat 4 times, then switch legs. Repeat 3 times per leg. . 2. Mark 3 spots on a wall in front of you: center, left, right. Hold the ball in your opposite hand. Bounce the ball on each spot, repeat 4 times, then switch legs. Repeat 3 times per leg. . 3. Hold 2 balls, 1 in each hand. Toss each ball off the wall 5 times, alternating. Repeat 3 times per leg. . 4. Single-leg alternating ropes. 30 seconds per leg. 5 rounds. . With the tennis balls - challenge yourself by bouncing the balls at different heights and speeds! . Here’s a Bosu Ball circuit that I did today that I wanted to share! Did it as a descending ladder circuit, which just means starting with more reps and ending with less. So you do 16 reps for all the moves on the first round and then 12 reps for all the exercises 2nd round and so on.. 4 rounds total. ... Reps: 16-12-10-8 1.Squat Jump onto Bosu Ball. (Key:bend your knees when you land on ball. Great for stabilizing muscles) 2. Mountain climbers 3. CORE SPEED AND BODY CONTROL🔥RAPID RESPONSE @bosu_fitness • Utilizing the resistance band to force a positive shin angle and forward lean to keep constant acceleration and forward momentum. Due to the unstable surface of the bosu ball incorrect technique or improper body mechanics will prevent you from effectively doing the exercise. I noticed that these movements really lit up the hip flexors and abs💡The fact that the bosu also has some give, teaches you to properly strike the ground with your foot and put maximal force into each step with an accelerated rebound. LEG DAY WARMUP/ACTIVATION . I don't post many warmups, but they are super important! I always warm up and have my clients do so before a workout. I've realized just how crucial it can be as I've aged. Not only will it reduce chances of injury, but will extend your range of motion and help you perform better👌. . Today was LEG DAY for me... I did a series of Bulgarian split squats, deadlifts, sissy squats, hip thrusts, and cable extensions..(sorry couldn't film these) . But here is the circuit I started with to activate my lower body and increase mobility. You can add these into any workout! 👍 . ➡️Swipe thru for the 3 moves...10X each, 3 sets. . 1.
