Some other like “value menu from Wendy’s is cheaper than preparing healthy meals” “buy lettuce or salads are too expensive when you eat out” and many more. 🍋This person prepared 6 meals for a total price of $18 this translates to $3 per meal. 🤩 🥕Let’s think about this if you eat out you have to consider gas and time who are also involve in the cost of eating out. If you eat in a restaurant, you have to give tip to the waitress. If you eat at a fast food, you have to wait in line and probably your meal doesn’t turned the way you asked for. 🥑Recommendations:🍆 1️⃣ Prepare your meals at home. If you can’t because of whatever reason instead of going to a fast food, food truck or restaurant visit the supermarket. Example: a salad kit cost around $3 + roasted chicken $1.50-2 (1 lb)= $4.50 2️⃣ Plan ahead of time. Start thinking about menu for next week on Friday so you have time during the weekend to buy ingredients and prepare meals. 3️⃣ Look for sales of the week at the supermarket. 4️⃣ Use supermarket cards for rewards or discounts. 5️⃣ If fresh vegetables are expensive at the time you visit the supermarket, remember that there is always the aisle of frozen vegetables which usually are cheaper. 6️⃣ No problem using coupons, they save you money! Use them 😉 7️⃣ The phone app called “Flipp” has weekly deals of supermarkets near you. 🥑Eating healthy is not expensive... is just what you choose that makes it expensive. It’s fast, easy and SO GOOD! 😍 🍓 250g Frozen Strawberries 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk 1/2oz Sugar Free Vanilla Sweetener 1/2tsp cinnamon 1 scoop protein powder (I use Vega) 🍓 I blend that up using my handy dandy Ninja until it’s smooth, pour it in a bowl and add a serving of Kind Vanilla Granola. On the heavy day, you're pushing bigger weights with the goal to get stronger in the 4-8 rep range. ➖ On the light day, you're working with higher reps (8-15 rep range), so the weights will naturally be lighter than on your heavy day. But here's where people screw this up: you still need to lift heavy. Aim to get stronger on each and every exercise. Test yourself! Just because it's called a light day, it doesn't mean you should be going light. 🔢Lets talk NUMBERS 🔢 I was always a math kind of gal, numbers just made a lot of sense. Lately (for years even) I've been stuck obsessing over the numbers in every aspect of my life. Whether its the grades I'm getting, how much I weigh, how many calories I eat/burn, the number of likes on a post, how many steps I take in a day, or how much I can 'lift'. For me it is such an easy way to measure, and so I go straight to it when I'm stressed. I count and it calms me down, but it can also be dangerous. When you start obsessing over the scale and the amount of food you eat you change your relationship with food and your body. While it is a great mechanism for losing weight - BE CAREFUL! Take a step back sometimes, don't count your calories, take off your fitness tracker, and just be. Who decides what they all mean anyway? I need this reminder every semester.
