Day 69 - Day 3 of AC Cycle 3, went back yesterday for Immune Booster Jab, feeling much better than Day 1.. my hair continues to shed each day, the 2nd photo is the amount of hair that had fallen off and matted overnight. As usual combing it out is another surprise at how much hair I am losing.. I believe right now I've probably lost 60-70% of my hair since the massive shed started on day 20 of treatment.. this red devil drug is really not kind to me at all despite the coldcap.. but on the flipside, it had shrunk my tumour by more than half as seen on the recent ultrasound scans.. comparing it with the MRI report from before treatment, the 2 tumours (they are next to each other) are approximately 7 x 7 x 6 cm.. I guess I should be happy how chemo is working for me.. I'm feeling much more normal today although in the morning I had a mini hiccup when I choke on water while trying to take my pre meds. Can't wait for the last cycle of AC to be over.. #alopecia #chemohairloss #chemohairprogress #chemodehydration #zoladex #goserelin #postchemo #chemotherapy #chemosideeffects #AC #ACchemotherapy #doxorubicin #adriamycin #cyclophosphamide #breastcancer #breastcancerawareness #breastcancerunder30 #youngbreastcancer #breastcancerfighter #breastcancerwarrior #coldcap #paxman #pegfilgrastim #immuneboosterjab

Whaaaaat is this hairstyle. I am deep in an #awkward zone right now. Is it a mullet? A Mohawk? . Do I clean it up at the back but then risk it not growing the same length?? Ugh! . I had a dream last night that I could put my hair in a scrunchie, it was magical. #chemoproblems . It’s also VERY curly and seems to have its own agenda these days. It’s no surprise because I had curly hair before, but never this short (obvsss). So taming it has begun to take quite a bit of skill! . . ALSO- I lost my eyelashes AGAIN. wtf. Apparently it’s a thing. I think it’s maybe because they all came in at the same time and since eyelashes naturally have a cycle where they randomly fall out, they were all just like “hey guys let’s all fall out together!!”. And that was that. So now I have baby eyelashes coming back. Fun stuff. The gift that keeps on giving! . . . . . . . . . Persona Uno, Dos, Tres Link to blog post is in bio 🌿 . . Since my hair has started to grow out I’ve been becoming more comfortable with wearing it in public. I’m still not 100% there yet so I’m finding I’ll still strut my headwraps and also my wig regularly. . . It’s becoming very confusing though!!! I forget how I am presenting myself to the world and so while I have a buzzed head, I’ll wear my wig and forget how much I blend in, or vice versa, how much I stand out! . How funny is it though that the one that helps me blend in the most and feel the most “normal” is the wig, yet that is the most fake and uncomfortable one out of all three. Weird right?! Says a lot about either society itself or perhaps my perception of it all, neither being all that positive. . . I can tell you one thing though - not wearing either the headwraps or wig has been so liberating and I love the freedom to just be myself finally!! 👏🏼👏🏼 . . . . #youngbreastcancer #breastcancerawareness #breastcancer #breastcancerfighter #chemo #chemohair #chemohairprogress #chemotherapy #chemosideeffects #chemotherapysideeffects #cancer #youngcancer #tamoxifen #zoladex #hormonepositivebreastcancer

Hair progress!! Growing my hair is easily the most exciting thing in my life right now. No joke. I can’t wait to start rocking the short style! Just a weeee bit longer before I’m ready for its debut! . . 1st photo was taken on August 8th (2 weeks after my last chemo round). Eyebrows are drawn on, so I’m slightly cheating. But you’ll notice I have ~3 eyelashes on each eye, brutal! . 2nd photo was taken on September 12th (1 and a half months after my last chemo). I started seeing some eyelashes! . 3rd photo was taken today (exactly 2 months after my last chemo). I’ve stopped glueing on eyelashes, and have dusted off my mascara to start using it again!! My eyebrows are almost full. I just fill them in a bit on the end now. And head of hair is getting fuller by the day! . These last two months progress has been entirely natural. I haven’t used anything on my head, eyelashes or eyebrows to help them grow. I only just started using Caster Oil a couple of days ago, so I will see how that helps! . Yay for hair!! . . . . . . #youngbreastcancer #breastcancerfighter #breastcancer #chemo #chemohair #chemohairprogress #chemohairgrowth #chemohairloss #chemotherapy #breastcancersupport #breastcancerblog #breastcancerawareness
