Few sets of overhead Dumbell pressing at 90lbs. While the barbell movements are great and second to none it does create an imbalance if unilateral exercises such as this are not Incorporated. If said side is failing first do not continue with the stronger side as that will keep the imbalance present. I am a honest person not just with people around me but more important with myself! I am not and do not train as a power lifter the amount of weight I can lift is not what drives me, however I do believe in pushing you comfort and not letting yourself talk your self out of doing what you thought was un achievable. I haven’t been as active on here as I would have liked to have been lately (more like months and months and months) and the truth is, it’s because I unfortunately just haven’t been as active. I was in the best shape of my life the day before Thanksgiving in 2017. In February of 2018 I was already a puffy marshmallow but at least I was stronger than I had ever been in my life. Come this past November, one year after the above photoshoot, I was as out of shape as I could remember. I was slacking in the gym, slacking on my diet, slacking on so many things that had defined me for so long that I couldn’t remember my life without them in it. While some important aspects of my life were peaking, many other ones were really lagging ... and I was, and still am, feeling it mentally, a lot. And as much as I’ve tried to hide it, I know I don’t so well. I posted a video on New Years Day 2018, my one and only talking video. I just watched it (please do the same.) Fu*king Brutal. Then I went on to read some of my more lengthy posts from when I was feeling like an absolute beast in the gym and in life honestly. I was so Positive. Motivated. Determined. Today's session was chest (dumbbell focused) and biceps was great session. 1. Dumbbell press top set 55kg 3 reps 2. Dumbbell press back off set 50kg 9 reps 3. Decline press plate loaded 4 plates per side7 reps 4. Dumbbell curls alternate 3×20 reps These are some clips from today session happy that I'm making progress with my pushing and lifts are going up. Push day B2 week 10 💢 Despite being a little sick, today’s workout went well. For a minor cold it seems getting in a workout can oftentimes be beneficial. The leg extensions are definitely getting my quads more defined. If you’re looking for another quad exercise alongside squat, give this one a try. The heavy weighted dips were challenging. Trying to work up to 2 45lb plates soon for reps. La mia preferenza resta su esercizi ad una gamba e ad un braccio all'interno dei miei programmi per gli atleti, questo è un classico esempio di allenamento di forza per atleti che svolgo nel mio centro. Inserisco sempre esercizi di mobility o stability nei rest lasciandoli attivi e rendendoli utili per la seduta del sollevamento del giorno. . . Ci sono maggiori incrementi di forza con esercizi monolaterali ed il transfert sul campo risulta migliore a livello neuromuscolare e prestazionale. Throwback ⚠️ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Heute mal wieder anlässlich des Donnerstags mal wieder ein kleiner Rückblick 😁 Gesichtsausdruck natürlich on point, aber nachdem ich mich von 83kg auf 69kg herunterdiätet habe war das auch kein Wunder. Zur Zeit gucke ich wohl jeden Tag so kritisch 😂 Nicht wegen des Hungers, sondern eher aufgrund des Klausurenstress. Aber das gehört leider dazu. Zumindest das Training läuft zur Zeit gut. "Ich habe keine Zeit mehr für das Training" ⚠️ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Stichpunkt Zeitmanagement. Man muss nicht 7 mal die Woche und 2 mal pro Tag im Gym sein, aber ich bin der festen Überzeugung, dass JEDER es schafft mindestens 2-3 mal in der Woche ins Gym zu gehen. Eine Trainingseinheit muss auch nicht 1,5-2h dauern. Ein gutes und effektives Training kann schon in 30-45 min geschafft werden, wenn die Trainingspausen angepasst werden. Um bloß fit zu sein braucht es eben nicht diese ewig langen Gymsessions. Ein kleiner Ausgleich zu übewiegend sitzenden Tätigkeiten muss auch kein schweres Gewichtheben sein. Wichtig ist, dass etwas getan wird. Aktuelles Gewicht:83kg ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Die letzten Tage etwas abgenommen. Woran das liegt weiß ich nicht, aber 0,5kg ist ja auch kein Drama 😅 Es kann natürlich daran liegen, dass die Mahlzeiten heute nicht so getaktet sind wie sonst, aber es kann auch an mehr Bewegung liegen. Nach den Klausuren werden die Mahlzeiten wieder getimet. Allerdings machr ich mir keine Gedanken so lange ich stärker werde. Heute mal wieder Oberkörper auf dem Trainingsplan.
