🙊4 “Health” Foods To Limit When Dieting🙊 ⠀ If you’re hoping to drop a few pounds, you might be considering increasing the quality of the foods you’re eating. It’s also likely that you’ve heard mixed commentary about which foods are “healthy” and which are not. While some foods might be good in moderation, many of these foods are easy to over consume, which can cause issues with calorie restriction, especially if you aren’t tracking. ⠀ Nuts – Nuts are often considered to be healthy. In fact, they are but only in the right dose. While nuts do have some fiber and protein, they also usually have significantly larger amounts of fat than anything, which means they are very calorie dense. For example, just one cup of walnuts comes in around 800 calories and 80 grams of fat. We recommend limiting nut consumption due to high calories and little to no effect on satiety. ⠀ Nut Butters – You’ve heard peanut butter has protein right? Problem is, one serving of peanut butter has double the grams of fat to protein. That’s without mentioning that peanut protein is an incomplete protein source, making it suboptimal for muscle growth. Additionally, one serving of peanut butter, which is two tablespoons, has over 16 grams of fat. ⠀ Avocados - avocados are very energy dense. Just one has over 20 grams of fat and over 230 calories. Sure, avocados have fiber and antioxidants, but they also significantly contribute to calorie intake with little effect on appetite. We recommend keeping avocado consumption to 1 per day. Otherwise, you might over consume. ⠀ Fruit Juice – Fruit juice is the worst offender. With marketing shoving fruit juice down you’re throat as a “healthy option,” yet none of the beneficial fiber of whole fruit, you’re essentially consuming liquid fructose, otherwise known as sugar. I constantly rave on about how consistency and flexibility are key to creating a successful and sustainable weight loss plan. - Why? - Because people need to know they can have a bit of what they fancy on occassion without feeling guilty whilst still progressing towards their goals. - However, the same could be said for eating 'healthy'. - I hear all too often how people will eat a salad for lunch and then reward themselves later on in the day with something like a chocolate bar, biscuits, or maybe even a takeaway. - Or how they will treat themselves to a pudding because they went to the gym so they've 'earned it'. - Stop rewarding yourself with food! - Remember this. - What you do most of the time is far more important than what you do some of the time. - If you occasionally overeat but stay on point most of the time, you're not going to ruin all of your progress. - However, if you are constantly overeating (even on things that you'd class as healthy) or constantly rewarding yourself with high-calorie foods then don't be surprised when you're seeing very little or no progress. - Tag someone in the comments below who needs to see this. at Cannock

Con la venida de los alimentos "SALUDABLES" vino de la mano el exceso , porque si algo es bueno, entonces en gran cantidad debe ser buenisimo.... ¿No es así la cosa? Cualquier alimento indiferentemente de su procedencia que sea tomado en exceso te hará caer en superávit calórico , lo que por ende te hará ganar grasa. Lamentandolo mucho así hayas ganado esa grasa con los alimentos "más saludables" , tener grasa corporal es lo que de hecho no es saludable. En la imagen cito algunos, de los cuales a mi parecer son tomados indiscriminadamente con el salvo conducto de que son "saludables" y que además incluso sin ser tomados indiscriminadamente , en pequeñas porciones aparentemente inofensivas pueden arruinar tu dieta. Some may say it's no biggie , but to me this was a HUGE accomplishment. I held a squat for 2mins straight yesterday after 15mins of Xtreme HipHop. ** Client Update ** This is my client Conor who I'm currently training out of @dennehyshealthandfitness in Douglas. Conor's hard work over the last few months has been so consistent. I began working with Conor towards the end of last year. Since then he has made huge improvements in his posture, strength and overall confidence in the gym. But above all these has to be his weight loss. Through consistent but balanced nutrition and correct training Conor has lost over 13 kg since January. A brilliant transformation. Incline barbell presses are a great exercise to add into your chest routine for building a thick upper chest. As @mountaindog1 says, the king of all upper body exercises😉. - Notice the angle of the bench. I have it at a low incline to help keep my front delts out of the exercise to hit my chest a little more. Many people think for an incline press the angle must be super steep, but this isn't always the case. - I am also focussing on controlling the eccentric portion and allowing my joints to track in a natural ROM. - I typically will work up to a hard set of 8 reps and then stick to that same weight for another set to failure. - - #chesttraining #chest #fitness #gym #pursue #classicbodybuilding #growmode #consistency #consistenttraining #consistentresults at Wisconsin
