💥NEW GOAL UPDATE💥I've been on the fitness journey since 2013. I first started running, then shifted over to HIIT home workouts & recently joined the gym for weight training. With running, the goal was to lose weight. Over 2013-2014 I could run 7km easily, and would treat myself to a 10km run once every week. Over 2015-2016 with HIITs I saw an improvement in stamina and strength, and developed a slight tone. I joined the gym in April 2017 because I wanted a change. I had no goal in mind, but I noticed weight training was helping me build a tone and a lot of strength too. My last bit of tummy fat that I had been crying about disappeared, & all that I could feel was a hard core. While I saw a tone in the body, it's my mid-section that frustrated me. I mean okay, I can't keep saying I want to be badass like @banij and @michelle_lewin but not do anything about it, eating cakes, butter chicken & Desi Chinese like it was all too fine. If I wanted to take things to the next level, I needed to show some more determination (Eating nachos & talking about being healthy was um, wrong, you know) Anyhoo, I've finally reached that stage where I am going to take this to the next level by focusing on my diet too. I have adopted clean eating this year, but it's going to get intense now. I know how wrong it is to cheat on meals, but I was in the whole 'eat healthy enjoy life' mode. But nah, I'm done with it, and it's a decision that's taken me some time to get used to. Diet is a MAJOR part of the fit life, and I've never been one to follow it because I thought I couldn't enjoy life anymore. Seeing @yogeshdiddee @samarthahluwalia and @vyasaayush09 I'm pretty certain it's possible to have a baller time & still work towards being fitter. It is intimidating, but it isn't impossible💥 I'm now going to be sharing my diet updates too along with my workouts. And of course party and traveling updates because I'm not someone to stay indoors if I can help it 🙄 So here it is, a new goal, a new challenge, a new journey. Happy New Year! 😇❤️

🚀Pyramid Pose a.k.a. Parsvottanasana Start from a lunge position, step your back leg in close enough that both legs are now able to straighten. Your front and back heels should line up and your back foot should turn out about 30-45°🌡 . . Focus strongly on squaring your hips. Round the spine, pivot and fold forward pressing your forehead towards your front knee. See if you can maintain body contact between the front of your leg and your entire torso from your lower belly to your face. You should feel a strong stretch in the belly of your hamstring muscle.🍗 . Continually press your front heel into the ground to activate the leg muscles and constantly lengthen your hamstrings. Try not to let your hip push out to the side to allow you to fold more forward by keeping square and pressing your big toe into the ground.🐾 . Put your hands🖐🖑 wherever they feel supportive – I like having mine on the floor on either side. Be careful not to overstretch! 🤘
