Did you know, that if you pay twice as much attention to your rug for example, it will feel like you are having two rugs? ~ Having a possession is knowing that you own something and having a strong awareness of that ownership. That's the way our brains function. We feel greater satisfaction when we own a treasure one irreplaceable coffee mug than we do have three mugs that we aren't particularly crazy about. ~ Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have 💚 And therefore I'm not rushing to decorate and fill my new home with stuff. It takes time to find something special, something that is so ME, something that is good quality and deserved to be invited in my home.
