My favorite boy to take a sweaty selfie with. He may have not worked out with me today but he hung out in the same room. He’s still seeing my consistency and commitment to myself. The boys used to dread me working out (30 minutes to myself how dare I? 🤪) and they’d always ask “why do you always have to workout?” At first it annoyed me when it was an every day thing, then I realized that so what if I have to explain this multiple days in a row? This is new to them, this isn’t the norm and this is something that takes some getting used to. Right now you may be reading this thinking, “I wish I had the time” but I promise you that there is actually another underlying reason why you won’t get started. Is it fear of failure? Fear of hard work? Maybe it’s just to feel good in that little black dress for date night with your man, maybe it’s to have the energy to not let that pile of laundry turn into the size of your bed 😜 whatever it is, I promise you that the hard work for 30 minutes is going to be well worth it. I promise you won’t die. You might stop, you might need some breathers, you might need to modify moves, but you are going to feel on top of the world when you’re done. Don’t just let life slide by right before your eyes, makes the moves to go after what you want and give it your all. Success is right on the other side of failure 🙃

⠀ “I have got to prove Tim wrong.”⠀ ⠀ That’s what I told myself when I started my home fitness journey 6 years ago. ⠀ ⠀ He watched me for years on the yo yo diet wagon, always trying the next “best thing.”⠀ ⠀ I’d go to the gym for a week or two and then life would get busy, I’d fall off, and then feel so defeated (again) that it would take me months to start back up again. ⠀ ⠀ From weightwatchers to myfitnesspal to nutrisystem, to slim fast, to no carbs, to CrossFit, to Tim guiding me at the gym...I never stuck with it. I was filled with self doubt and excuses. ⠀ ⠀ Then when I was on another one of my “hey babe I’m gonna try this new fitness thing” rants, he said “you won’t even go to the gym after work, are you really gonna stick with a home workout program? You have some in the dvds you’ve never even touched.”⠀ ⠀ He was right. ⠀ ⠀ He wasnt trying to be rude, he was expressing the truth. ⠀ ⠀ This probably would be “just another thing.” ⠀ ⠀ Except this time, his words spoke to me a little differently...⠀ ⠀ I was sick of giving up on myself. ⠀ I was sick of quitting. ⠀ I was sick of how I felt. ⠀ I was sick of letting him down every time he believed in and supported another one of my fitness frenzies.⠀ ⠀ And I wanted a FAMILY 💙⠀ ⠀ So I decided. ⠀ ⠀ To show up every day. ⠀ To TRULY give this a chance. ⠀ To see what 60 days of dedication might do for me. ⠀ ⠀ And here I am 6 years later. ⠀ ⠀ Through life. ⠀ Through the ups and downs.⠀ Through the hard days.⠀ Through the doubt. ⠀ ⠀ I promise you if you’re reading this and can relate in ANY way...you are just as capable of changing that. ⠀ ⠀ But it’s up to YOU. ⠀ ⠀ Why do you want this? ⠀ How will it feel if you achieve it? ⠀ Is that worth the sacrifice you’ll have to make? ⠀ ⠀ It sure was for me ❤️⠀ ⠀ If you’re in need of a place to start I’d love for you to join my free accountability group focused on you having somewhere to check into for fitness/nutrition accountability every day so we can cheer you on! ⠀ ⠀ Drop a ❤️ if you’re gonna join us! 😘 And if you don’t, I hope you’ll find something that works for you and stop giving up on yourself. On this episode of "Gainz Everyday" we look at the positive of being stuck in a deep, sandy wash, 15+ miles from cell service all night long. It allowed us to work on our fitness during all hours of the night, digging down, building a road out, one bucket at a time. . . After all the work we put in and solid game plan made, @jesse.shiner and I only got so far. We never should have had a 2018 Silverado in this spot in the first place. What's hunting without these kind of memories though? This one was a ton of fun. Had a push day and wanted to incorporate some more functional exercises I typically would turn towards. I kept rest times pretty short to keep a sweat going the whole time💦 - Push workout💪🏼 . 💥Tricep extensions: 4x12 . 💥Incline BB bench: 3x12 warm up 4x8 working sets . 💥Reverse grip BB press / Elevated bench dips: 4x12/12 . 💥Slider push ups: 4x12-15 . 💥TRX skull crushers / Jump rope: 4x12/30 sec. . 💥Cable flys / Overhead DB extension: 4x12 . 💥Seated lateral DB raises: 4x20 . 💥Rowing machine (erg) / Ab circuit of choice: 4x500m/45-sec. for the ab circuit *This superset is non-stop*

Well, the deer isn’t going to hike looking for me, or drag itself out of the woods. Gotta stay ready for that moment when it comes. I don’t have an ATV or Polaris so it’s on me whatever I get into when I go out in the woods. What @firstlitehunting says for their gear goes for me too: Go Farther, Stay Longer. I like to stay physically fit as much as I can can. For me that means an early morning weightlifting workout, usually followed by some core workouts. Not only does it make me feel physically well, but it helps my mental wellbeing too. Having that morning session before the sun comes up gets my day started right and gets my mind right for the rest of the day. Sometimes sleep is life’s me for one reason or another, but I would rather lose sleep and still get a decent workout in than sleep in for a few hours. Plus, any excuse to wear the “I ❤️ 🥓” shirt. I used to give up on myself. All the time!!!! . . I wanted to be fit. I wanted to feel comfortable in my clothes. I wanted to look at pictures of myself and be proud. . . I wanted to be in control of the food I consumed. I didn’t want the cravings for junk food that I had. I hated that I would keep eating even when my body told me it was full.. because it was just so good 🙄. I hated the way I felt after eating crap and that directly fed the negative self talk. . . I started sooooo many diets. I started so many Monday’s with the intent to stick to a fitness routine. And I failed.. over and over. . . But I kept trying. I kept believing in myself. And looking back I can contribute my success in this area to 2 things: . 1. I started surrounding myself with others who were also on a health and fitness journey (even though I told myself repeatedly I didn’t need that) 2. I started working on my mindset. This allowed me to get my mind and body on the same page instead of “forcing” myself to workout or eat clean, it felt more like I was choosing it. . I think a lot of people who want to be healthier and more fit, to lose weight and feel good are stuck somewhere where their mind isn’t on the same page as their body. . It doesn’t have to be hard! It takes time and work but once you get the pieces lined up.. it becomes easy and you start seeing your success grow . . I’d love to help you friend! I have an amazing community of people to help guide you and cheer you on. And awesome workouts and nutrition plans that will get you those results. . . What are ya waiting for?! Let’s go!

Last week was rough 😖Starting this week off right though! 💪🏻Meal prepped bfast, lunch, energy bites, and have a dinner menu ready to go 👊🏻Actually woke up to my alarm and did day 1 of MM100 😱I can’t believe the calorie burn and peak zone from that short of time! Here’s to continuing on with this motivation the rest of the week 🤞🏻

-Stay focussed- Wie man vielleicht auf dem Bild schon erahnen kann, habe ich viele Jahre vor dem Gym auch schon Sport gemacht. Als kleines Kind habe ich geturnt. Und auch beim Cheerleading war das Tumbling meine Leidenschaft. Körperspannung, Körperkontrolle und Disziplin sind nicht wegzudenken bei diesem Sport, das Turnen ist weder einfach, noch anspruchslos. Man muss stets fokussiert blieben und darf sein Ziel niemals aus den Augen lassen.
