Snow, snow and some more snow...I just love the leading lines and the way the branches form a tunnel. Need to go for a forrest walk, I've got itchy feet 😉... #winterseason2018_2019 #snow❄️ #croatia #trees #snowcoveredtrees #nopeople #idyllicplaces #photography #dslrprohibited #visitcroatia🇭🇷 #travelingphotography #zagrebcounty #landscape #samobortouristboard at Slani Dol Samobor

"Lines and Curves" • Look at all this architecture. Leading lines, patterns, depth. It's so incredible and modern. It's in a building on campus which was constructed 2 years ago. If you know which building, you know what school I go to. I know this is not what I usually post but I hope you still enjoy it. I'll admit I'm stalling because I'm still editing my Paris shots. I'll hopefully get the first ones up tomorrow but we'll see. Do you know where this is? • Commentary: The architecture speaks for itself. I don't think you could screw it up. Just follow your lines and use a wide angle. I also added a little color grade to spice things up

Now this is quite different from my last post! From sun and desert, to snow and hills 😁. Both enjoyable in their own way. #snow #winter #snowing❄️ #cold #winterseason2018_2019 #trees #hills #winteridyllic #blisfullphotoart #photography #croatia #travel_croatia #Europe #b/w #blackandwhite #dslrprohibited #underthesnow #nopeople at Slani Dol Samobor

"Crane Day" • I was able to watch one the biggest cranes in the Eastern United States build up a bridge at midnight on a very cold day in October. Those massive lights at the bottom were so bright . • Commentary: The image is an HDR, exposing for multiple subjects of different luminance in the shot. It was 5 shots taken from (-2 to +2). I made sure to get the whole crane as well as the building on the right in the shot to account for composition. at Boston, Massachusetts

"Clear Nights" • This is a shot from the skywalk observatory on the pru. I kind of like this shot even though this is super old. I took this before I even considered myself to be a photographer. This was taken on my phone. I didn't understand a single concept of photography when I took this but I quite like it. Here's my analysis on the shot that I got simply by looking and going, that's nice, on my phone • Commentary: So I understood nothing when I took it but here's my commentary on why I like this so much even today. Composition follows rule of thirds and the subject is placed in that intersection of the grid. There are two leading lines of light leading to the main subject and one leading line which continues out into a sea or vanishing point. The foreground element is a small building, followed a slightly larger building, followed by the subject so in a way, the buildings are like leading lines too. Only the center is lit which helps focus on the subject and also provide some contrast. The orange and blue contrast is pleasing to the eye and the vanishing point is a bit out of focus implying depth. at Skywalk Observatory

"Cloudy Seas" • Sorry for not doing a post yesterday. I was really busy and got back to my place at midnight so I just slept. • It's the iconic shot seaport again but this time in a cloudy atmosphere. I waited about an hour just sitting at fan Pier to get this shot. can you believe that this is my first ever shot of Fan Pier? I love the structure of the clouds and the color and moodiness of the sky. • Commentary: I tried my best to get the whole chunk of buildings in so the composition would be good. I wanted to provide a good foreground element so I got close to this post just enough to not cut off any of the composition so it works in harmony and used the chains and the path as leading lines to the buildings. The orange lights that day contrasted the blue sky beautifully. Also, on the shoot, I didn't bring a tripod. (What an idiot but I was still a newbie at the time) so I spent the entire time on my knees. (That would've been funny to watch) at Fan Pier

"Blue Hour at the Park" • Happy Sunday. Another week went by. How was your weekend? I spent mine editing my shots from Paris. • This shot was taken when I was just walking home one day. The only reason this shot exists is because I saw those rainbow lights in the top right and I knew I had to try to get it. Funny thing is the moment I finished the shot, the lights went away. Was I lucky? Maybe. They were just lights in the end. • Commentary: Long exposure. I kept the building centered to give a sense of symmetry. This is actually 2 shots stitched together because I liked the top half of one shot and the bottom half (light streaks) of another shot. I also really like the girl in the bottom left. Just the way she's lit up next to the streaks conveys a sense of urgency. I also kept the "ghost people" in and even brought them out more because I think it creates movement and makes the scene feel more alive at night. at Boston Common

"Night in the Port of the Sea" • Seaport is one of those places that you must go see if you're in Boston. The district is one of the wealthiest in the city. This particular frame can be captured on Fan Pier and is very iconic. When I was on my photo walk, I was actually in the North End and I wanted to get the sunset from there. However, there was construction and the composition was off so I had to think of another plan. I immediately thought of Seaport but I was 20 minutes away by foot and the sky was already in golden hour. I basically had to run and look up at he sky as I tried to chase the sun. Never try to chase the sun. On the way, the bridge across to fan Pier from the North End was closed so I had to find a different way. It was quite the journey but I finally made it to Fan Pier during late golden hour. I was able to shoot from that time through blue hour. My previous shot of Seaport that I posted was the very first shot that I took during this series. • Commentary: Composition is key and long exposure is the only way to properly expose everything and also helped with the reflections. • I'll be posting a bit less starting next week because I'll be in France but keep up with me on the story at Fan Pier

To photograph is to hold one’s breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It’s at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy! "Triangles Across" • The Bunker Hill bridge is so iconic in Boston that not posting a photo of it while living in Boston would be a crime. That being said, I knew no good spots to take its picture so I had to gamble. I decided to take green to North Station and just walk towards the bridge. I was pretty sure there'd be something to shoot and I was right. I just had to walk 20 minutes, through a dark alley, and through some construction. I still wasn't able to get the whole bridge though so if anyone has good spots that you've scouted, lmk (I know some people say got to BHCC but I still need to scout the area). This is the best I could do and I like it. If anyone can identify that red dot to the right of the tip of the triangle, I would appreciate it. I think it's a plane but zooming in, it's just a red dot with a streak • Commentary: Nice defining diagonal leading lines to a clear subject, long expo for reflections on the water, triangles and many geometric shapes make it seem orderly, the leading lines have rectangles which are repeated patterns, and a nice lit background. These were all things I thought of composing the shot. Also nothing is cut off at Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge

Shot this short video with my phone during my trip to Mussoorie, India. I have seen many beautiful sunsets but nothing like this one. Mussoorie is known for its famous "Winter line" which could be seen across the horizon during sunrise and sunsets. This phenomenon only occurs at two places in the world and mussoorie is one of them... Everytime I see the sunset i relive this beautiful moment❤️ Love for those who read💕 - Mention your loved ones in comments with whom you guys want to share this beautiful sunset with😊❤️ - Tag us in your posts or use the hashtag #dslrprohibited for a feature❤️ - Turn on post notifications!!👍🏻 . . . #india #mussoorie #sunset #love #wonderful_places #visualsoflife #agameof10k #depthsofearth #earthfocus #hypegeo #ig_color #igtones #AGameofTones #artofvisuals #aov #thecreatorclass #worldtravelbook #moodygrams #discoverearth #exploretocreate #visualauthority #photographylovers #visualsofearth #beautifuldestinations #theglobewanderer #nature #earthpix #artofvisuals #lifeofadventure at Klick Cafe Laal Tibba
