Left to right is a 2 year long journey. Most clients who are bulking ask me "how long would it take a build a muscular physique" The straight forward answer is I DON'T KNOW. And I get questions like how can you being a coach not know? Simply because human bodies are all not made under the same roof, using the same machines with the same specifications and dimensions to deliver the same output. Our bodies are not a goddamn machine that humans built. Each and everyone of us is different. If it took me 2 years to reach from left pic to the right one, it might take you 4 years or maybe 6 or even 10! Whining about things like "But my friend lost 10kgs in a month and I lost only 4" OR "That guy in the gym bulked up 5 kilos in 2 months but I gained only 2" is not getting you anywhere, trust me. Or try whining and then you'd eventually have to trust me. I have been in this game of lifting weights and eating right for 12 years now. It took me 12 years! When I started off, I was a bloody 64kg guy. Today I stand at 70kgs when shredded and in off season anywhere between 75-80kgs. Now if I have to talk about science, yes you need to be in calorie surplus i.e eating more than your maintenance and you need to lift weights. That's a given. But what's more important is doing the same, for years. That's how you build a physique. If you think that just buying a few supplements or working with a coach for 3 months is gonna transform you into a terminator, you are living in a bubble that you need to get out of, seriously. Asking your coach 'how much time will it take me to put on 10kgs of muscle' is just like asking 'how much will it take me to have a net worth of 1billion dollars' or 'how much do I have to study to score a 9.8 percentile'. You see what I am trying to say? It just cannot be answered because of obvious reasons. A genuine piece of advice: DO THE DAMN WORK AND DON'T COUNT DAYS. Do you count the number of days left for you to die? No right? Why? Cause again, you damn sure don't know.
