"Burpees are my favourite", said no one ever...! 😂 Started off with 3 minutes of them, and if I hadn't been so busy trying to catch my breath, I would have made it to the round 30! 😂 Next came Snatches and I think... (and I will double check) that I PB'd a 1 RM at 33.25kg this morning!!! 🙌💪 I dabbled in handstands but they still need work, oh, and I discovered instant liquid coffee...! You know you really challenged yourself on leg day when you can't even stand up afterwards 😂👊 During the prep workouts for this program, I was sore from leg day for the next few days and I don't expect anything less. . I hit snooze and came up with allll the excuses to skip this morning. But when my second alarm went off, my inner voice reminded me of all the reasons WHY I'm committed to this intense program and told me to get the eff up. So I did. Hey there girl!! I see you over there!! See this face!! This is a mama face who stayed up a little later than she would have liked because her kiddo needs her!! This is a daughter’s face who had her papa bear at the doc for the third time with pneumonia that he can’t kick! Trying to keep him out of the hospital! When that alarm went off so so early this morning, I didn’t want to climb out of bed, there was that little voice on my head saying, “you can sleep a little longer “ then I remembered what I was working towards!! I got my booty out of bed and I did this thing!!! I’m not different than you, you think it’s easy and I have all the time in the world?!? Nope, in fact for those that know me, they know just the opposite, but I do know what I want!! Today was Day 5 and I this week had been a challenge with early morning workouts, but I know it is worth it!! I want you to know that you are worth it too!! I believe in you!! We have this fantastic group and we are all working towards the same things!! Slightly different goals, but we are all working to get as healthy and fit as possible!! I want you to know that you don’t have to do it alone! I got you!! I tried it alone!! Never give up!! You need a workout partner!! We’ve got you covered!! This is not a quick fix!! This is a life journey! Might as well enjoy it while you work for and in good company!! 👍🏻👊🏻💪🏻❤️

Early morning swimming is my paradise. ❤️🌴I started swimming last December to compliment my @annavictoria FBG workouts. Due to my weight I wanted something with little impact as to not further stress my joints. I used to wear a size 20/22 swimsuit. I’m now wearing a size 14 swim suit. Swimming has not only helped my physical fitness, but my mental well being as well. 🌊 On a side note, I didn’t know you could have a favourite muscle, but I definitely do! Some mornings I bang out my workouts with no interruptions. Other mornings I am surrounded by little people who think their requests before 6:30am are valid. For example, I am not starting breakfast at 6:03am or am I helping you build a tractor in between squats. Sorry, just not happening🤷🏻‍♀️. . Today I shlepped them back upstairs twice because their Ok to Wake had yet to light up. You should have seen the looks on their faces😂 Anyone else use these clocks with their kids? Most of the time they work perfectly (after a lot of practice). . Needless to say, I could have quit. I was over half way done and feeling the burn of leg day. But I reminded myself that I didn’t start to quit AND I would feel better about myself for finishing. Quitting sucks! It doesn’t feel good. I’ve quit too many times in my life and I’m not starting anything anymore to quit. Mommas got goals👊🏼 . For as long as I can remember I’ve always been attached to the physical outcome of working out. How nice my ass looks, how tone my arms/legs are, how flat my stomach is, and so on. I’ve learned this isn’t sustainable and the same goes with food. We can only push so hard and restrict and punish ourselves so much before we’re like “fuck it” and revert to old ways and then we give ourselves an even harder time for being a piece of shit for quitting xyz. You can't hate yourself into wholeness. Be nice.❤ Something that keeps coming up for me lately is trust and surrender. Surrender the results, surrender the old hurts and woul, forgive myself, surrender to the yoga, trust the yoga, trust myself and that it is safe to trust myself in surrendering. I can say that since I’ve started yoga this year I haven’t taken one progress picture and it’s simply because I’m not attached to this end goal of the “dream body”, so I don’t feel the need to. I do yoga because it helps me not only physical, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Yoga has taught me to live in the moment, find areas I’m holding onto certain emotions, surrender, trust, let go and breathe. The main area that I find the most challenging is my hips, which is where the 2nd chakra (sacral) is located.😅 So areas like self-love, not letting go of the past, emotional and physical trauma and such are stored here, so it’s not surprising this is where I have the most tension and pushes me to the point of tears in lizard or pigeon pose.🦎 I’m excited to see my growth in all areas as I continue my #yearofyoga journey.🙏❤ #ywatrue #namaste #selflove

What should I even post on here these days? ATM life consists more of getting ish done... which in all honesty isn’t all that interesting or post-worthy. Work then school (although this winter break has a been a relaxing one for once). I haven’t even really been working out. Rarely going out, and when I do I always forget to take pictures 😅. And makeup, barely ever anymore lol. I guess this is my keep-up-the-grind-and-improve-where-you-can post. I can work on keeping my focus more, getting up a little earlier to squeeze in a small workout, putting in time for home improvements each week, and making sure to nurture my relationship. Well not much to say about that workout but ~WOW oh WOW~. . Leg day did not disappoint. New moves I have not done before, challenging my legs like I never have, a little bit of talking to myself, a few 🤬at the tv, jello legs, lots of sweat and 46 minutes was over before I knew it!. . Best part I loved it, in that sick twisted kinda way!!! Five days down and loving this new program and totally happy and I must say shocked with my results!! Yeah results in five days. I’m calling it all one big WIN! . So with that happy Friday, and remember you can do hard and challenging things!

Early AM leg day ✅ Shakeology ✅. My challenge group girls are killin it with 80 day obsession. Makes me so proud 😁 as much as I’d love to help everyone and let everyone join my challenge groups- I simply can’t . I am no personal trainer or nutritionist. That’s why I love beachbody programs because they have nutritionists and trainers create programs for me! I simply just follow directions + give support + get support. 😁 that being said: if you are a coach, you need to rely on your own network/upline of support ❤️. And if you have a coach- you need to go back to THEM for support. If they are no longer active in their business and you need to change coaches- of course I’d love to have you join me and give you all the support/resources I’ve learned over the last 4 years of my fitness journey. At this point in my journey and work life I am so busy I only have time for my full time job, my fitness journey, my challengers, and my dog walking biz 🐶❤️

I bought a set of 15lb weights and 12lb weights a few weeks ago in preparation for #80dayobsession! I used my 15lb weights for almost every move of #legday today! 😲 When I started this journey back in April, I did mostly cardio and used mostly 5lb weights, and 10's when I could! Now, my 5lb weights are mostly sidelined (with the exception of a few arm moves)! This has been quite the journey, and I have gained so much strength, focus, drive, determination, motivation, and more!
