Credit from @anonymousforthevoiceless - “But vegans cause crop deaths”. How many times have vegans heard this argument? Yes, we as vegans do acknowledge that our actions also cause harm and that animals are injured and killed during the production of crops. Unfortunately it is impossible to cause no harm by living on this planet, and this is just one example of that. Yet, that being said, if you are really so upset about this fact, why would you then continue to consume a diet that needs 10x MORE crops, causing 10x more harm to those during crop farming, in addition to the many, many others that are then slaughtered for you to eat? Where is the logic in this? This will NEVER justify the exploitation of billions of animals. If you TRULY care about animals being harmed, then live in accordance with these values, and go vegan, and minimise the amount harm you cause. 📷 @andrewskowron #meat #meatheals #eatmeatmakefamilies #meateater #ketodiet #carnivore #speciesism #animals #animalrights #vegan #vegansofIG

Doesn't say anything about not eating meat...least someone got it right! The culprit is and will always be processed foods and things with hydronated oils and processed sugars #eatmeat #eatmeatmakefamilies

So this is totally a self love post. Loving the *fuckin fuck* out of myself and the progress I’ve made. I have been so fcking hard on myself recently. Pushing myself to extremes that probably weren’t healthy. Ignoring everything I’ve learned about myself and my nutritional needs. (Lol seriously feel like such an idiot) Tipping the scale a little too far. Cutting calories, limiting fluids, using way too much caffeine, pushing myself harder than I should’ve. I put unnecessary mental/emotional stress on my workouts and my meals. I had a goal I was working toward. I even put money on it. A lot of money. I was dedicated. I didn’t slip up. Not once. . And I missed it. I failed , “lost” the challenge and I lost a big stack of cash... I crushed myself and then I was so crushed that I didn’t hit the goal. I made really good progress but it didn’t matter because I didn’t hit the goal I was working toward. When I “lost” I avoided eye contact. I walked out. I cried. I cried a lot. Every other stressful thing in my life at the moment felt even heavier and I lost it. . I fucking lost it. . I wanted to quit everything, go home and just fall into nothingness. That wasn’t an option. I had to shape up and show up for a morning meeting in 30 minutes. Fuck. Nope. I’m calling in. This sucks. Then my coworker texts that he’s struggling with *real life* sick pain and won’t be there. And I’m like shit. I gotta pull myself together man. Find the silver living and put your savage pants on and get back to crushing it. . Deep breath, River. It’s cool, River. It’s just money (a lot of it)... it’s just one “failed” challenge. It’s just a struggle. Find the win. Find the lesson. What did you learn River? . Anyway I found the lesson. My lesson was: don’t be an idiot. Ha. Don’t let yourself get sucked into this stuff. Just do you and crush it. Don’t take life so seriously. Don’t sacrifice your health and wellness for a metric that doesn’t even matter. And don’t sign up for gimmicky challenges at CrossFit gyms 😂 . I finally have a baby bicep bump. 🥰 I’ve been noticing this little guy subtly grow for a while... progress is real. now I’m looking for some abs 🧐
