Set a pot with 5 cups of water on the stove at medium to high heat.⁣ ⁣ 2. While waiting for water to boil, add 1 tbsp of butter to a skillet and let melt. Add shrimp, a squeeze of lime, a little bit of curry seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until desired level of done-ness. Remove and set aside.⁣ ⁣ 3. Add onion, squash, mushrooms, and a drizzle of olive oil to the skillet. Sauté for 5 minutes.⁣ ⁣ 4. While veggies cook, rinse @miraclenoodle for 15 seconds. Drain. Add to boiling water and cook for 2 min, then strain. Add noodles back to the pot and cook another minute to dry. ⁣ 5. Once the onions and squash are soft, add garlic and curry powder to the skillet and cook until fragrant. Add coconut milk and bring to a simmer, about 5 minutes.⁣ ⁣ 6. Reduce heat and add shrimps back. Cook another 3-5 minutes.⁣ ⁣ 7. Serve curry and shrimps over noodle and top with diced green onion. Enjoy!

One of the challenges I had when I came back to the states was the many ingredient choices I didn’t have before. In Sri Lanka, I felt limited, but that allowed me to get more creative. ❤️🍅❤️🍅 Yeah! The tomatoes were a killer crop this year! Tip we will be living by for next season: once the plant flowers, flick it a little so it pollinates well. We were so surprised to see it work so well! Also...if you followed the brussel sprout story journey, I’m sad to say we abandoned ship and the caterpillars won. 😡 🐛. My all natural spray was doing great but it was just too much maintenance. No one has time for the daily spraying. Lol. BUT, come on by for a caprese salad anytime! 🍅 🌿

Tomato and Salsa Powder Recipe INGREDIENTS Skins & seeds from leftover tomato sauces and salsas DIRECTIONS Dont peel or remove the seeds when you make your sauces or salsas. Instead process everything and put it through a strainer. The skins and seeds will remain in the strainer. This is what you will use to make the powder. Spread thin the skins on a dehydrator fruit leather sheet. Set dehydrator to 135° for 4 - 8 hours or until completely dry. Food process it till it's a powder. Vielleicht habt ihr mitbekommen, dass ich diese Woche mein Studium an der PH begonnen habe.😊Heute war ein ganz besonderer Tag. Denn wir haben von unserer Mentorin mitgeteilt, in welcher Klasse wir unsere ersten praktischen Erfahrungen sammeln werden. Ich wurde einer 6. Klasse zugeteilt. Das war eigentlich genau das, was ich noch nicht wollte. Doch es wird schon seine Gründe haben, warum es genau so gekommen ist. Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall bereits riesig auf nächsten Donnerstag.🤗

5-A-Day | this delicious salad certainly contained at least 5 different fruit and veggies but how much counts as a portion? 🥬 1 portion = 80g of fruit or veg 🍆 🍎 Approximately: 3 florets of broccoli 🥦 3 tablespoons 🥕 1 x🍅 3 tablespoons🌽 1 x🍊 7 x🍓 1 x🍌 Fresh, frozen, canned and dried, they all count. And so do beans/pulses/legumes, but only as one portion a day. 🍇30g of dried fruit = 1 portion 🥤150ml fruit or vegetable juice or a smoothie also counts as 1 portion but again only once per day. The sugars in fruit juices and smoothies means they should ideally be consumed as part of a meal to reduce the risk of tooth decay. . If you don’t yet eat an average of 5 portions a day, just try and add one more portion; e.g. make sure every meal includes at least one portion, try and get two into dinner, have fruit or veg based snack and you’ll be well on your way. . If you’re already meeting 5 a day, don’t just stop there! There’s evidence to support 8-10 portions a day as having the most benefits for health. The 5 a day target is simply based on what is thought to be an easily communicated and achievable target for the population as a whole. .
