I know that there is a lot going on in the world right now. For me, two things that consistently lift me up are moving my body and connecting with others so I've created a challenge. Here's how it works: start day 1 on Monday, June 1st. Each day you do the exercise for that day AND all the exercises from the previous day (so by day 30 you are doing all 30 exercises). Pick a number of reps that is attainable, but challenging - 10, 20, 50, or go big and do 100! This isn't meant to be easy - you should feel challenged! That being said, if you know your body needs rest days, take them! Feel free to build in a rest day every 3 or 7 days - that will just extend the challenge a bit longer! I created this challenge in an attempt to counteract personal body image insecurities. I know that by doing this, I will be able to better appreciate my body for the amazing things it can do rather than fixating on what it looks like. I know that everyone has their own needs and coping mechanisms during challenging times - a physical challenge like this is what works for me personally so if you're interested in joining me, I look forward to connecting in this way! #workoutathome #adapttogether #exercisechallenge

Just going to leave this here........ My first attempt of a handstand push-up 🤸🏽‍♀️ ⁣ ⁣ Considering I’ve been doing the @pushforbetter challenge for the last two weeks, not a bad effort if I say so myself! 🤯⁣ ⁣ Only two days to go and I will have completed 3046 push ups! That’s my ‘excuse’ ... “I’ve done.. a lot... of .. push ups.. today already!” 😅⁣ ⁣ So I counted these two reps 😋⁣ ⁣ For the last few weeks I haven’t been doing my usual exercise routine. Not for the lack of motivation but I was worried about my hormones! I was running 3-4x per week, strength training twice a week and teaching 3 @fitrightphysio classes. This is normal for me and has been for the last 3 months. The only difference was I started being more consistent with my handstand practise 4x pw then added in a couple of push-ups 🤪 . I’m very in tune with my body and noticed my menstrual cycle was out of whack so I decided to pull back A LOT. It felt good to rest 😌⁣ ⁣ Then I got sick 😷 ⁣ ⁣ Ive been off work for the last two days. I went to get tested for COVID and thankfully it was not detected! 🙌🏽⁣ ⁣ After resting up and taking it realllll easyyyyy for two days, I literally don’t know who I am anymore 😆 ⁣ ⁣ BUT The Push-up Challenge.. must .. go on!!!!! To be honest, it’s one thing that has made me feel good over the last few days. That little 2 minute burst of movement to get the blood pumping! I know these spaghetti arms are getting stronger 🍝 ⁣ ⁣ Happy long weekend WA peeps! ✌🏽

How does your protein taste? Mine tastes amazing. . It’s not chalky or bland, and it tastes like what its supposed to. The blueberry muffin tastes like a muffin and the caramel latte tastes like a coffee house drink. . I have tried a lot of protein powders over the years. Most didn’t taste great. The ones that tasted good were so loaded with sugar that they were liquid candy bars. Tasty, but not a health option. . I live a busy life. If I don’t pay attention, I will miss meals and end up needing food right now. To make sure I don’t get that way, I use protein shakes. They are convenient and help me control what I eat. The only caveat is that it has to taste good so I actually want to use it. . Level-1 tastes great. I look forward to drinking it. I use it every day. It tastes great with just water but mixes well with other beverages. It also has a good balance of protein, carbs, and fats that make it ideal for snacks or meal replacement. . WEEK 5 - DAY 2 A good old fashion METCON (metabolic conditioning) workout sounds like the best way to prep for the testing week next week. This is going to be tougher though. You’re going to do the workout twice. Here’s how it works. 21 reps - Plank Jump-in 21 reps - Narrow Squat Jumps 21 reps - Burpees 15 reps - Plank Jump-ins 15 reps - Narrow Squat Jumps 15 reps - Burpees 9 reps - Plank Jump-ins 9 reps - Narrow Squat Jumps 9 reps - Burpees REST: 5 Minutes Then you do it all over again 🦾. This type of workout (METCON) is designed perfectly to push your limits in strength and conditioning. It Is perfect if your in a Plateau. Work REALLY REALLY hard for a short amount of time, recover, the do it all over again. Good luck! Here is another easy to implement health tip! . 👉Exercise at least thrice a week If you are not physically active you increase your health risks in many ways such as: . ➡️ Weakened bones and muscles ➡️ More breathless ➡️ More stressed and anxiety ➡️ Poor metabolism ➡️ Less energy . Here are a few easy tips to be more physically active: . 1️⃣ Indulge in physical games or hobbies like swimming, dancing, basketball, cycling, etc 2️⃣ Play with your pets 3️⃣ Walk as much as you can 4️⃣ Keep some exercise equipments at home for home workouts (if you can't go out) .
