❓Are there some patterns you feel like you just can’t wear❓ . I know we all think about it. Sometimes we put something on and it feels like the worst part of our body (or at least what we think is the worst) is staring right back at us. . Horizontal stripes have a knack for doing that, at least for me. Since they run horizontally they create a widening illusion with your torso. . The best tip to beat that feeling and wear any pattern you want❓Check it out👇🏻👇🏻 . Try a jacket or playing with some layers if you’re not quite comfortable with the pattern. The jacket I paired with this @rickyandmickyofficial striped crew [that we talked about yesterday ] perfectly slims down that visual effect the stripes create. #istylerm #rickyandmicky . This is a great example of that term “structure” I talk about in my blog. Leaving the jacket unzipped allows you to get the impact of the stripes, but creates a flattering slimming effect in the midsection. . 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 & 𝐑𝐞𝐮𝐬𝐞💆🏾‍♀️ ⁣ -⁣ I often get asked “how do I wear blazers” or something similar to that. Tbh, I wear suit separates almost on a daily basis, with wearing a full suit every now and then. I wear blazers how I want to wear them, whether it be smart casual, dressed up, OR even with a nice pair of chinos or jeans. ⁣ -⁣ I tell a lot of people, don’t get stuck on the black and white definition of fashion, YET make it your own style. I’ve worn this blazer countless times with different colors and textures. ⁣ - ⁣ What do you guys think?
