Here I am. The obese girl who can’t buckle in cars, cross her legs properly, run, walk for 5 minutes, and whose legs give out on her every other day. The girl who has so much anxiety when leaving the home that someone is going to make a remark, she just doesn’t leave. Someone who is so incredibly sad, she’s been to the hospital twice because she’s just wanted to end it all. Sunday Breakfast 💁 I remember like it was yesterday the days when Sunday breakfast used to consist of chocolate or greasy bacon and cheese rolls or even the previous nights takeaway. When I first met Matt the biggest challenge for me was adapting to his lifestyle. Farming isn't a 9-5 job and I struggled being by myself alot and being so far away from my family, and at that stage I didn't really have any friends in the area. I came to Aus travelling alone so the only friends I had made in the first year out here were other backpackers continuing to travel around Australia. I found life difficult and looking back I made it even more difficult for myself. I would spend most Sundays eating all day on my own on and off snacking on chocolate, chips and whatever was In the cupboard reaching up to 116kg as a result. I would tell myself that Sunday was the last day to do it and on Monday I would start a "diet" and as we all know Monday never comes. Thankfully In July 2015 I got out of the dark hole I was in and began to regain control of my life, I haven't talked much about why I gained so much weight so quickly but it's a question I'm often asked. It's somewhat bittersweet to do these little mini vlogs every day, because I have so much more information put out to you guys in 60 seconds or less it's just not enough to fully explain some of these concepts it's kind of a fun challenge! Today's topic with Meal timing and portions and this was extremely generic but when it comes to pre-and post workout meal timing and how much you should eat or perhaps drink in general it's really good to focus on a carbohydrate sources about 60 to 90 minutes prior to your exercise I would say at least 20 to 40 g of carbohydrates know if you know for sure that you're eating over 2000 cal a day then maybe consider bumping up your cards to be 40 to 60 g pre-work out, and another 40 to 60 g post work out within about 1 to 2 hours of post workout. No more importantly post workout you should focus on protein source at least 20 maybe 25 to 35 g depending on how much your normal daily intake is but I would say a minimum 20 to 30 g of protein post workout. That's all for today I'm headed to a dinner at my coaches house I'm sufficiently sunburn from a water bounce castle earlier today and my glutes are definitely sore from changing up some small tweaks and techniques in my deadlifts and leg press so I'm thoroughly happy about that yet very tired yall have a good Saturday! at Pasco County, Florida
