Current guidelines say it's ok to leave the house to exercise provided you stay safe, and keep your distance from other people...cycling is OKAY Mammas and great for your fit pregnancy! ⠀ ⠀ But there are a few things to think about: 🚴‍♀️ A ‘sit up and beg’ style of bike might be more comfortable as your bump gets bigger – or raise your handlebars so you sit more upright⠀⠀ 🚴‍♀️ Make sure your bike is properly adjusted for your height so you can easily reach the ground when you stop⠀⠀ 🚴‍♀️ Invest in a pair of well-padded gloves and remember to move your hands as you’ll be resting a lot of weight on your wrists⠀⠀ 🚴‍♀️ Wear a supportive maternity exercise top to keep your bump secure and contained – maternity fitnesswear with moisture-wicking properties will stop you feeling clammy. Layers are a good idea for cooler days⠀⠀ 🚴‍♀️ Don’t be embarrassed to jump off and walk up hills⠀⠀ 🚴‍♀️ Remember you should still be able to talk whilst exercising – don’t get so out of breath that you can’t hold a conversation⠀⠀ 🚴 #♀️ Keep hydrated with regular drinks of water⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ If you have any concerns about exercise during pregnancy and whether or not to cycle, consult your doctor or midwife #onyourbike #cyclying #cyclist #pregnantcyclist #cyclingpregnant #bicycle #bike #babyonboard #pregnantathlete #fitpregnancy #fitmomtobe #prenatalfitness #pregnancyworkout #preggofit #fitpreggo #pumpthebump #activepregnancy #pregnantandfit #tiupregnancy #prenatalworkout #fitandpregnant #strongmoms #mumtobe #stayhome #vitaminD

19 weeks + 5 days 💓 ⠀⠀ Since finding out this bump is a little girl, it feels SO REAL 🙈 And now we’re only a couple days from the halfway point and I can hardly believe it! ⠀⠀ Trying to not be anxious about what the world will be like when she makes her arrival, but when I think about how fast time is going it’s hard not to worry! Feeling for all the mama’s who have or will have to give birth without their partners by their side 😔❤️ my heart goes out to each of you!! #pregnancyupdate #bumpdate #19weekspregnant

One of MY things that is keeping me grounded is my workouts. I’ve been working out at home for 7 years, following program calendars, sharing my progress or struggles with my groups, and making it a natural part of my life! It’s my wish that this area of your life gives you FREEDOM rather than feeling like a burden. It’s why I’ve been an online coach for 6 years... because I’ve seen the highest highs and lowest lows, and my fit fam has always been there. I’m especially proud of the community my team has built over the past year. If you’re a member, you know what I mean!! I’m opening the group to new members this week. You may not have a gym or class you can go to these days, but you do have an invitation and opportunity! I have special offers I’d love to share with you, including a brand new workout program launching on Monday, April 13! 🥊 You know where to find me. 😄 #fitandpregnant #momtobe2020 #sahmlife #wahmlife #quarantinefitness #19weekspregnant #fitfordisney

Do you love you yourself? What are you doing to show yourself that daily love you deserve? Getting some sun ☀️ (when it’s out), getting a good night sleep 💤, fueling you’re body with the proper nutrition 🥬 , getting in your 30 minutes of exercise 🏋️‍♀️ daily, fresh air, drinking your water 💧???? These are the best doctors out there! These are the things you should be doing if you truly love yourself and want to live your best life. Your wellness will last a lifetime and even extended it! I know us mommas want to live the longest life we can so we can watch our children grow into the person they are meant to be. We want to watch them become parents, spoil those grand babies 👶🏻, and also be able to keep up with them (this is how I get my mom to exercise 😉.) Health and wellness is not just important to us, it’s important to our families! Think about your kid not having you anymore... Ouch! It’s devastating right? Now imagine you could change that by just living a healthy lifestyle. It’s not hard but it is important and takes discipline! Love yourself more daily, put you and your family FIRST! If you need some help jumping into this health and wellness thing drop an 😍 or shoot me a message and I’d be happy to help get you started!

Took up the challenge of #firstcouplespic on and thought I’d share in a post❤️ Here is Mike & I when we were maybe 3 months into dating back in 2013. And here is us now in 2020 trying to survive Quarantine with two young toddlers. Saw this message on another Mama’s post and thought I would share here. It really rang true. “Check on your friends with little kids. They cannot: Go for a run by themselves Watch random TV during the day Nap when tired Peacefully read a book or work on a project Isolation with kids in a high-physical-needs phase of life is intense and exhausting Sending love and grace to all of you” Michael Childs & I have been challenged this week with the boys. This has not been easy. Any other parents in a similar situation with young kids- know that you’re not alone in how you’re feeling. Hang in there! We got this! And let’s just hope for more better days than bad ones ❤️ Oh having some wine 🍷 & beer 🍺 helps too 😜

•Being a beginner is ok!• • •Some women get intimidated when trying to start working out. Maybe you have a super fit friend that you compare yourself to; maybe you look at fitness accounts on Instagram and think you could never do that; maybe the thought of trying to figure out what exercises to do overwhelms you. • •Don’t let any of those things stop you from starting your own fitness routine! You can’t compare yourself and your journey with anyone else around you. Start where you’re at and build from there. • •Reach our to me if you need any help planning your fitness! • #momgetsmoxie #fitmom #fitness #workingmom #honestmotherhood #stayathomemom #motherhoodlens #momunity #motivation #healthylifestyle #fitnessjourney #postpartum #momlife #mommydiaries #postpartumbody #postpartumfitness #pregnant #fitandpregnant #motherhoodlens #mommy #momitforward #gymlife #personaltrainer #momswholift #mom #athomeworkout #homefitness #fitpregnancy #fourthtrimester #strongwomen

My progress pictures definitely look different now in this stage of life. _ But you want to know what the cool thing is? In just ONE week with this new program, there is still progress! Physically, there are some, especially in my upper abdomen and back (definitely lost some of the fat I gained from barely being able to workout during the first trimester), which I'm pumped about! _ What I'm most pumped about is the mental changes as well. These workouts have been amazing at helping me lower stress and I've been able to gain so much energy (because let's be real...energy loss is REAL during pregnancy🥴)! _ Want to know what I've been doing and the changes I've made? 1. I've been staying on track with my workouts & doing the best I can. This doesn't mean I go hard, trust me, I walk around a lot, modify a ton, & take breaks. It just means I do the best I can. 2. I eat MORE. Yes. I eat more lol. But I focus on eating healthy & following my meal plan. Yes, I do still give into my Chinese food cravings from time to time, but that's okay! Have that treat every now & then girl! 3. TONS of water. Yep. Which means tons of bathroom breaks, but ya know🤷‍♀️ 4. I have a support group of girls who hold me accountable and help me when things get rough. If it weren't for our online tribe of gals, ya'll...I don't know where I'd be lol. Seriously though. 5. I stay focused on my goals: To have a healthy pregnancy & pregnancy weight, to stay strong for an easier delivery, & to be healthy for our Little One. The healthier I can be, the healthier baby will be. _ So honestly, there isn't a ton I've changed, just little things here & there. Is it always easy? No. But give yourself grace in that, momma. You're growing an eyeball in there! And if you need help, I'm still enrolling for my April virtual fit group & have 6 spots left! Ever curious about my online group? DM me, or drop an emoji below & we can chat about it!💙

I rolled my eyes & pressed play KNOWING I’d hate a boxing workout. It was part of a 100 day program I did & told myself I could do it because I’d only have to do this style 1 time every 10 days. - But holy heck was I WRONG. Sure, I felt a little silly and uncoordinated doing something new! But you know how else I felt? Strong Powerful Capable & Unstoppable - And that’s EXACTLY why I’m SO pumped to do a full 6 week boxing & lifting program! I’m confident I’ll come out on the other side feeling even MORE of those things I mentioned above. - 20 weeks pregnant can’t stop me - I’m gonna kick this programs’s booty (and it’ll for sure kick mine too 🤣) - We start next Monday & all you need to do is drop a 🥊 if you want the details to start, too! 🙌🏻 - - - #fitandpregnant #fitformore #facs #firstpregnancy #firsttrimester #workoutsforwomen #workoutstyle #20weeks #20weekspregnant #teacheroutfit #teacherootd #fitpregnancyjourney #teachersofinsta #boxingworkout #teacherfun #teacherpreneur #teachermode #secondtrimester #teachersummer #teachinglife #classroomfun #quarantineworkout #homeworkouts #jesusisbetter #firsttimemom #boxingdrills #workoutfromhome #workoutsfromhome

Quarantine life’s got me like 🤪🥴🙄😭😬🙃😶 Now more than ever we’ve got practice some self care people or else we’re all going to LOSE. OUR. 💩 Self care during quarantine is looking a little different over here though 👇🏼 Today I allowed the kids to destroy the living room and make a “super rocket fun jump,” as Evy calls it...AKA home trampoline park made of couch conscious tossed all over the living room 🤷🏻‍♀️ It bought me about 30 solid minutes of SEMI alone time which was a huge win for my sanity 🙌🏻 #selfcare Yesterday I showered, got dressed (in normal clothes, not PJs or even leggings), did my hair, AND put on makeup. 💁🏻‍♀️Like whaaaaaaaaaat 👀 Who am I? I really don’t hate being able to look homeless and not leave my house. But it was glorious to feel like a normal human even though I still in face did not leave the house. 😆 #selfcare I set my alarms every day to get up before the gremlins do so I can get a workout in. Starting my day like this always makes me feel more sane, energized, and motivated...and usually encourages me to shower...see above lol #selfcare We have taken advantage of any nice weather ☀️ we get to go for a neighborhood walk. It does wonders for EVERYONE’S mood. That sunshine heals the souls especially in times like these. }self care 🌞💛🌞💛 What’s your quarantine life self care look like??

Just got the official good new yesterday that I’m having baby number 4! Hubby and I are excited! But I told him this time around I’m going to try and do this pregnancy WELL! I easily gain between 50 and 80 pounds during my pregnancies and just work it off after. NOT THIS TIME!! I’m going to stay focused on what’s important and that’s HEALTH! I’m going to continue to eat as healthy as possible and workout throughout this pregnancy. I hate feeling bad about myself after every pregnancy and now I’m making a change! Here’s some of today’s workouts 😊😊💪🏾 #fitandpregnant #pregnancy #workout #fitfamily #fitspo #motivation #womenwholift #dedication #hardwork #happy #mom #homeworkouts

Now it's more important than ever to take care of your body. Yes, we are going through a stressful time as human beings, but having a physical outlet for the stress is one of the best ways to feel better. No, you don't have to get in your best shape ever. No, you don't have to workout for 90 minutes a day. No, you don't have to eliminate all of your comfort foods. Yes, you really should move your body and get your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes a day. Yes, you should get off the couch today. Yes, you should eat mostly real food (not from a factory). What you do in this time will have an immediate and also lasting effect on your physical and mental health. Your health is important. If you don't have your health, it's hard to enjoy other aspects of your life. ⁣ ⁣ If you don't know where to start, reach out for help. This is up to you. Start today by pausing Netflix and go for a 30 minute walk. It's easy once your body gets used to it, then you will start craving movement🏃‍♀️ ⁣ ⁣ You can do this 🤘💜⁣ ⁣

"Domesticity does not equal motherhood. 🙅‍♀️ I once sat in a class where teenage girls said they needed to learn how to cook, do laundry, and clean if they wanted to one day be good moms. I stopped and told them that cooking, doing laundry, and cleaning are part of being an ADULT. Those are not the things that make up motherhood. But I get where they got that conclusion. You always hear women say they aren't good moms when they don't make homemade lunches, prepare cupcakes for the bake sale, show up to the doctor with kids who have brushed hair, or get the laundry put away in a decent time. 'I'm such a bad mom. I sent store-bought Valentines to school with my kid.' 'Mom fail. I didn't get the laundry done.' 'I'm a failure as a mom. I don't make homemade bread/cookies/whatever.' NO. Your 'success' as a mother is not defined by domestic duties. Domestic duties are part of being an adult. While your children do need to be changed and fed, that's not the summation of MOTHERHOOD. Anyone can change and feed children, including dads. You can hire someone to clean your house and feed your kids, and you'll still be a mom. And if you weren't a mom, you'd still have to clean your house, cook food, and do laundry. You're not a bad mom because you didn't do laundry in time. Let's stop combining domestic duties with motherhood, because they just aren't the same. Yes, moms do domestic things. And they raise children. These are two separate things. Your housekeeping is not your motherhood, and you're giving away power when you combine the two and judge one against the other. You are a good mom because you love your child, and you try to help them learn the things they need to learn. You worry about your kids, you spend time with them, you plan for their future, and so much more. You might be terrible at domestic duties (I don't know) or you might be the best housekeeper in the world. But neither end of the spectrum--or anything in between--determines if you're a good mom or not. Housekeeping is NOT motherhood." #motherhoodthroughinstagram #momlife #motherhood #mumlife #mommylife #parenthood #motherhoodrising #uniteinmotherhood#momgetsmoxie #fitandpregnant #fitpreg

The biggest lesson I learned from my 1st pregnancy to 2nd pregnancy was the importance of staying away from trigger foods (donuts) and staying as active as possible. ⁣ ⁣ My first pregnancy I had gained 60 lbs wasn’t very active and ate whatever I wanted. My recovery was long and hard.⁣ ⁣ My second pregnancy I decided to eat better. I know it’s hard to eat a certain way pregnant so I hid veggies in my pancakes (1cup of spinach) I put spinach in smoothies. I made my deserts with coconut sugar, honey or maple syrup. ⁣ ⁣ I also upped my fitness, I found that on the days I felt nauseous and tired, I would actually feel much better after a workout. ⁣ ⁣ Because of these choices I only gained 30 lbs my second pregnancy and my recovery was 100x’s better!! ⁣ ⁣ They usually say as you get older recovery is harder. Had my 2nd at 39yrs old and had an amazing experience!⁣ ⁣ Taking care of your body at any stage in life will always make a huge difference! Even if it’s hard in the moment, it’s worth it in the end! 🤱 #pregnantandfit #pregnantnotpowerless #fitpregnancyjourney #fitpregnancytips #pregnantworkout #pregnancyjourney #pregnancyfitness #healthypregnancy #fitandpregnant #nutritiontips #nutritionmatters #pregnantlife #pregnantworkout #pregnancyrecovery #nutritioncoach #whatyouestiswhoyouare

Taking a moment to appreciate this amazing body of mine. I use to hate the way I looked, the skin I lived in. . Today I love my body like never before. I’ve put it through a lot, and it still managed to nourish and grow my love for 9 freaking months! I didn’t “bounce back” I worked my ass off to get healthy. Little did I know It was for me to go through that journey one more time and grow Baby #2 for another 9months(4 and some left😱). . So here’s a HIIT Leg workout you can do at home. Get your heart rate up and give back to your body with this great sweat. -no equipment- . 🔺Save for later🔺 If you try it let me know in the comments :)♥️ . ▪️4 exercises▪️repeat 4 times▪️ -10 sec break in between- . ••60 sec Soccer Runs (knees up and out, point heel in) ••45 sec Triple Bear Jumps (knees underneath hips, hands under shoulders. Jump left middle right, knees two inches off the floor. Flat back) ••30 sec Sumo Squat Jumps (Stay low, chest lifted) ••15 sec Plyo Lunges (My least favorite 🙄) . Rest 60 secs ⤵️ ▪️2 Burn outs▪️ Repeat same moves back to back twice. •30 seconds each•

Ugh! This weather and the sunshine is bringing me life today! 🙌🏼 Are you getting some sunshine where you are today? I hope so! ☀️ • • Something else that has been giving me life lately and keeping me from going completely insane while under quarantine are these at-home workouts!! Having a program to stick to that promotes SO MUCH POSITIVITY, a group to keep me accountable, a daily shake to keep my nutrition on track and help me stay healthy. 🙌🏼 • • I honestly think I would be drowning right now without these things, they’re keeping me motivated and from going insane being at home. I’m so used to being out and about all of the time that it can feel a little suffocating being at home so much lately. 🙅🏼‍♀️ • • I’m looking for 10 women that are ready to commit to their health and fitness goals starting April 13th for 3 weeks with me to hit the ground running towards our 2020 goals! You get: ☑️ me as your coach and accountability partner for an entire year to achieve your goals! ☑️ endless number of workouts you can stream and do anywhere (Think Netflix of Fitness!) ☑️ an easy to follow eating plan that does NOT leave you feeling deprived and keeps all food groups in 🍎🥒🥑🌮🍳🥖 ☑️ an optional grocery list & recipes to make for the 3 weeks ☑️ a chance to win some fun fitness swag by committing to yourself! This group will help you get yourself focused on hitting your health goals in 2020 with the tools and habits to truly make it STICK! Want to reserve one of the remaining 5 spots?! 👇🏼Can you say REVERSE TRANSFORATION??👇🏼😆 January 5 ➡️➡️➡️ April 7 Me on the LEFT: Feeling good about the progress I’ve made so far and my recent decision to start over and recommit to the longest home fitness program I’ve ever tried. Feeling unstoppable. Determined to finish all 100 workouts and pumped to see my results. TOTALLY CLUELESS that later on this day I would pee on a stick and discover I was about 4 weeks pregnant🤰🏻Say whaaaaaaaatttt??? Me on the RIGHT: Today I’m 18 weeks pregnant and still feeling good about the progress I’ve made! I’m 84/100 workouts into the same program and this momma’s NOT quitting. Still determined to finish strong💪🏼 Is my body transforming the way I originally planned when restarting this program? NOPE 😂 Rather than losing inches and pounds, tightening and toning things up...my body is doing just the opposite. But my goals have changed. Calm down Karen ✋🏻 I’m not trying to lose weight over here. I’m doing what my doctor has encouraged. I’m keeping it MOVING and I assure you I am being safe and modifying and limiting how I do it with 30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week. Giving my body this regular exercise paired with fueling it with nutrient rich foods it needs is what I’m aiming for. 💛 Am I still enjoying allllll the Oreos, popcorn, and Chipotle I’m craving. You bet your biscuits I am. I know how my body is going to change and grow over the next 5 months, and that it’s not going to just “bounce back” after giving birth. This body is doing some miraculous work right now. It’s is literally HOME to my youngest baby right now so I’m going to take care of it and give it what it wants and needs. So bring on the extra squish and stretch marks coming my way, because this no colored pencil is left in mint condition after creating a work of art🧡

The other day, Thomas & I came across a video where an individual was complaining about being "stuck" at home with their spouse & kids. _ Later, we came across multiple posts of people saying they were tired of being around their spouse as much as they were. That they wished they had something else to do in order to spend time a part. _ This honestly broke my heart. I get it, I'm definitely an individual who loves my alone time, & that got flipped upside-down when Thomas got sent home to work from home until the stay-at-home order is done. _ But, I've never complained. I've never wanted him gone. I've never wished for things to go back to "normal". I've never felt "stuck" with him. To be honest, I LOVE the time we are getting to spend together now. _ This isn't because it's all sunshine and rainbows, but it's because of how we get to learn about each other more than we did when he'd be gone all day only to come home tired, stressed, & exhausted. We actually get to spend time reading God's Word & praying together throughout the day. We get to sit at dinner, no stress, no worries, & TALK. Like...deep talks that we haven't had since we were in college. We've been able to figure out very effective ways to work through conflict. We've been able to see each other at work & grow in appreciation for what the other does. _ I know this will all change when the stay-at-home order is done, but I'm thankful that God has opened up this time for us to dig deep & grow together. So during this time, find time for yourself, but also cherish the time you have with your family that you wouldn't normally have otherwise. Do something together that's new. Try to dig deep in how they are doing with work/school...are there stressors that you weren't aware of? What about frustrations? _ I know it may be stressful, & you can even invite them into that space, but don't take for granted what God has given you for the next month: cherish those moments. We don't know when our last day is, or a family member's, so use this time now to grow with them, spend time with them, & find that joy with them 💙

Our personal trainer this morning gave us a killer leg workout! He also said we should “squeeze the booty now so someone else can squeeze it later.” We of course had to follow through for the full workout experience! 😂 & might I say, Josh got a nice booty! 🤩 Here’s the FULL workout we did today so you can get a good workout in, too! Don’t forget to let someone squeeze your booty afterwards! It’s a *vital* part of the workout 😆 Do 3 rounds of each exercise 50 seconds on, 15 second rest 1 minute rest between moves! •Goblet squat •Backwards lunge •Straight leg dead lift •Side to side lunge •Bridge *all of these moves can be done with or without weights! Enjoy getting active today! And DONT FORGET THE AFTERWARDS BOOTY SQUEEZE!! SOOOOO IMPORTANT! 😂😂

One of the most damaging myths us women have been sold, is the idea that we should work to ‘get our bodies back’ after having a baby. With magazines full of celebrities that pinged back within weeks of popping out their little ones and it certainly being feted as the desirable target post baby, many women can be left feeling a sense of failure and shame if they don’t meet these expectations.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A recent study showed that 81% of women still felt pressure to lose weight after giving birth and of that number 51% felt anxiety and depression as a result.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is a heart-breaking statistic. At a time when women should be revelling in their new born babies and looking at their body with a newfound admiration for what it is capable of doing, the last thing they should feel is a pressure to lose the pounds that they rightly needed to gain to grow those babies.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Exercising in your pregnancy is good for you. Getting back in to an exercise routine at the right time and with care postnatally is good for you too. But a pressure to 'ping' back really isn't. And yet I know I felt it, that pressure to act like nothing had really changed, especially after having my first. The reality is it took time. And it took a little more time with each baby.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I feel like its slowly starting to change now, and that people are more honest than they were even a couple of years ago, about their experiences. Do you? Or do you still feel that pressure?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #mybodydidntgoanywhere #natalactive #natallyactive

17 weeks and then poof, we’re at 20 weeks! 🥰 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Feeling strong as ever and loving every stage of this pregnancy thus far. And finally starting to feel baby girl kickin around! (Although she hasn’t been very cooperative for Dad or big brother, yet 🤦🏽‍♀️) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was so apprehensive about keeping up with my fitness when I first learned of our pregnancy. I was just afraid I’d screw it up! So grateful for an OB who tells me how it is and not to be afraid of doing what’s been so natural for me for so long. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m so much happier when I can push myself to my limits (which are obviously different now compared to pre-preggo status) but I especially feel healthier burning through the negative energy which helps maintain my sanity amidst our current social climate. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 10 Rounds couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m not a fighter, but you bet your ass I’m fighting for a bigger and brighter future for myself and my family ❤️ and that all starts with my health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What are you ready to fight for? . . . #dueaugust2020 #20weekspregnant #momtobe2020 #fitmom #preggo #fitandpregnant #pregnancy #pregnancystyle #pregnancyworkout #RNspired

I stressed out so much with my first pregnancy, I was constantly worrying about wether my baby was growing properly, constantly asking myself “what if’s”. . I’ve always had control issues (still working on it). But this time around I’m just riding the wave, not focusing on my weight (because I eat relatively well and stay active). I trust the universe to do its job❤️ I’m trusting myself to feed my baby all the good stuff(with the occasional guilty pleasure snack). . It’s not easy stepping back and letting what will be, be. Sometimes I still struggle and try to force things instead of just waiting for everything to fall into place. Like I said I have a control issue and while it’s still a work in progress, one thing I am 100% in control of is what I do with my body. What I decide to put into my body. . This journey has been far from easy, some days it doesn’t go well, I don’t workout or eat the best. But I get up the next day with a fresh new mindset and start again. . Anyone can choose to be healthy but it really has to come from you. No one can make you workout or make you choose the healthier snack. I can easily choose to eat whatever I crave whenever I crave it, use my pregnancy as an excuse nd just relax because in almost 20 weeks(holy crap I just realized I’m few days away from being half way) I won’t be able to relax. I have no idea how crazy life will be. But that’s not what I choose, because I know; 1. It’ll fuel my depression and anxiety. 2. It won’t help my baby or my body. 3. I honestly don’t enjoy being unhealthy. So choose to be healthy with me! Its never too late :)

•How to Start a Fitness Routine• • •Many of us have found ourselves with extra time on our hands. How you spend that time is up to you! It’s a great time to learn something new, but sometimes the best thing you can do is relax. • •However, if you’d like to start exercising, here are some guidelines: • •1. Find a Space - having a designated space to exercise can be great for your mindset. Ideally, this is a place that has few interruptions – i.e. your kids won’t be running through, your spouse isn’t trying to get work done nearby. That space is for YOU and your self-care time. • •2. Find a Time - if you can find some part of the day that’s relatively consistent, try to fit your workout in there. Having a dedicated time of day, instead of just fitting it in when you can goes a long way to making exercise a more permanent decision. • •3. Set Goals - too often, fitness focuses on strictly weight-loss. Try picking 2 or 3 goals that have nothing to do with weight loss. Maybe you want to be able to workout for 20 minutes without taking a break, or be able to curl a 20 lb. dumbbell, or jump rope for 5 minutes! There are so many different kinds of fitness goals that can really make your fitness a lot of fun! • •4. Find What You Enjoy - I don’t like to run. I get my cardio in other ways. If my only fitness option was to run, I would dread it! If you’ve tried to get into fitness before and hated it, odds are, you didn’t connect it. If fitness is brand new to you or you haven’t enjoyed previously, try a different type of workout each time for the first few weeks. This will expose you to many training styles and you can find one you can enjoy and do consistently! • •I didn’t want to overwhelm you with a huge list of pointers – starting exercise can be daunting enough! But these four points are a great place to start. • • #momgetsmoxie #fitmom #fitness #fitnessmotivation #goals #fit #workout #fitlife #motivation #healthylifestyle #fitnessjourney #postpartum #momlife #homeworkout #momlife #postpartumfitness #pregnant #fitandpregnant #juststart #motherhoodunplugged #quarantine #mommyblogger #personaltrainer #momswholift #mom #athomeworkout #homefitness #fitpregnancy
