⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ‼️TECHNIQUE TUESDAY‼️ 💥 KNOWLEDGE 💣 s 💥 • • The KETTLEBELL SWING • • The 🎥 Coach @chelsea_babineaux Performs a series of swings: 1️⃣. The first 3 swings: good quality swings 2️⃣. The second 3: overextension in the spine, loading the lower back incorrectly. 3️⃣. The third: the top position looks like a hollow position whereas the glutes/midsection are fully engaged- shoulder blades down and KB in the oh position • • ⁉️the WHY⁉️ First and foremost the KBs provides an unparalleled metabolic response, jumping power and training the dominant muscles of the posterior kinetic chain. The kettlebell swing is dramatically effective. 💥 ⁉️The HOW⁉️ Setup: -feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart -both hands around the handle -Stand up; and get a couple of low amplitude swings in before you bring the weight overhead. -the Kbs is hip hinge focused, and the KB will follow your hips. A common mistake here is squatting vs hinging. -in the bottom of the hinge; keep the spine neutral and the chest high. -fire the hips forward to create upward momentum; finishing with a pull+press at the top- if need be. 💥 -Another common mistake as you can see in the R still shot picture is over extending the spine in the top position. Which in turn leads to lower back pain and possibly further injury. Transformation•Tuesday! Shout out to coach @laugalvis0417! 🎉 This is her story. Swipe left for more results. • I will never forget how I felt before I decided to make a change. When people say that Herbalife doesn’t work, I take it personal because this is what Herbalife HAS DONE for me. I have personal results with these products, with this lifestyle, this meal plan and this community. It changed my life forever and no one can take that away. I remember how hard and frustrating it was taking the “before” pictures. I was feeling insecure and not happy at all with the outcome of my bad habits... because yes! I knew I was there because of me. I was the only one putting bad things into my body Monday through Sunday without caring about my health and wellness.I knew I was the only one responsible of not fitting in my clothes any more😣 I was addicted to fast food, to drinks and to eating unhealthy and I even hated working out. But also I wanted to feel and look good but didn’t know how to start. In Tom Cruise's movie, The Last Samurai There's a scene Where his character, Nathan, is standing outside in the pouring rain holding a wooden sword in his hands Along comes an intimidating Samurai who doesn't like that his enemy is holding a sword, even though it's a wooden one The Samurai challenges Nathan to a wooden-sword-dual Beating his opponent, Nathan falls to the ground But gets back up again and reaches out for his sword He falls He gets back up... This goes on for around seven times! Each time, Nathan gets back up again Each time, he fights back Each time, he tries again He is wounded and weak But he still gets back up! He still keeps reaching out for his sword and he still keeps fighting for his honour. Eventually, the Samurai throws Nathan's wooden sword away and departs Because if he hadn't, maybe Nathan would have stood up again.. Again and again.. There's a reason why this scene is my favourite scene from countless of movies... This scene keeps coming back to me Reminding me that no matter how many times we fall We can get back up We can keep at it We can be strong After all, That is the way of a true warrior! I was never a breakfast person until I realized how important “breaking the fast” was for my metabolism & energy for my long days. 💪🏽

Manchmal sah es schlimmer aus, als es tatsächlich war und es gab auch ein ein paar Momente, in denen man erst hinterher gemerkt hat, wie tief es mit einem falschen schritt hinab gegangen wäre 😆. Und etwas Kraft zum Abhängen war am Schluss auch noch übrig 💪🏻. Heute stehen noch jede Menge Mails und Termine an, bevor es zum Ende der Woche dann mal eine kleine Auszeit zur Entspannung geben wird, dazu die Tage aber dann noch mehr. #motivationmonday Never let a diagnostic define your lifestyle . Almost a year ago I found out I had a disc herniation. It was a long painful process with days when I couldn't even walk or spend much time sitted due to sciatic nerve being compressed. I stopped playing soccer and every high impact activities. I tried everything to make the pain go away but nothing seemed to work . I then started to do stretches, strength training and just being mindful of my posture and body mechanics. . The pain started to go away until the point today after almost a year, I can deadlift again and do back squats! 🙏🏼🙌🏼 . I learned that I should never compromise the form for a heavier weight and that I exercise for my health so I can live longer and share more moments with the ones I love. We do it in every aspect of our life AND It gets the best of us if we allow it to. 🙅🏼‍♀️ ————————————————————- NEVER EVER COMPARE YOUR CHAPTER 5 TO SOMEONE ELSE’S CHAPTER 15 ‼️ ————————————————————— Comparison becomes habitual, it seems normal and almost numb to it BUT boy oh boy is it destructive. Am I the only one guilty of this? 🙋🏼‍♀️ • • • Last point is to truly RESPECT ✊🏻 the process of other’s journey. We can easily get caught up with the fun fitness models, crossfit athletes, professional athletes, etc. DON’T forget they also went through one heck of a process to get where they were. (NOT EASY) ————————————————————— Nothing wrong with admiring a person’s work ethic, their results or their performance... • • • however when it clouds your own judgement and destroys your ability to appreciate your own progression...UM.
