🔥Are you tired of living your life around your gym’s schedule? 🔥Do you sometimes miss going because of your busy schedule? 🔥Do you get sick of having to look “presentable” just to go and get sweaty? You aren’t alone!!! I went to the gym for many many years and although I did ❤️ it, the gym dictated my schedule!😣 I finally workout smarter on MY SCHEDULE at home!!! I roll out of bed and get it done when I want to!!! This usually means ASAP! If I wait around too long, it probably won’t happen! Lol. Just breathe. · Something I have been having to remind myself to do lately ... several times a day. We see glimpses of people’s lives on social media, usually the highlights. I try my best to show you all the lights and darks of my life in hopes people can see that it is HUMAN to experience both. · Life went full speed real quick. I swear I blinked and I was 7 weeks into the school year. 30 kiddos, one me. I love teaching so much, it is an incredibly rewarding experience and I’m thankful for every second I spend doing my job. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t feel torn apart and burnt some days / weeks. · I give my all to these 4th graders - I know how much of an impact I can have on them, so I spend hours before work, during work, and after work making sure of that. This is an extremely emotional job. You build connections with kids so fast; they become the first and last things you think about everyday🙏🏻 · With that being said, I get overwhelmed very quickly. I found myself starting to forget about ... me. This is not what I want to model - I want to show you can balance it all❤️ So today, I’m choosing to just breathe. I’m choosing to focus on me and make myself a priority again. This does not mean my students, friends, and family will be less of a priority; it just means that I’m gonna find that spot again that incorporates it all. · I know it’s possible, I’m staying positive, that’s all that matters. Cheers to a life full of happy humans, including yourself 😊

A little pre-set trash talk got me fired up and turned a planned set of 20 into a set of 25. . Here’s what I’ve been doing- it’s a great strategy for guys over 40 (who still want to get jacked and get after it without loading the barbell with maximal weight). At the end of #lowerbodyday , hit up one set of 20 reps on barbell back squats. . It’s been 5 weeks since I’ve been doing this. I started light (week 1- 135lbs) and I’ve added weight each week (135, 155, 185, 205, and this week 225). . I’ll keep you posted and let you know how it goes and how heavy I get up to. For 2 years now, she’s been coming twice a week, almost never cancelling and always in a good mood. Result? I don’t have to point out anything, just look at the damn picture. Q/A to start the day.. most common question I get. Do you go out / is it okay to go out? Answer, Yes I do and yes its 100% okay to find a time to enjoy yourself. With that I can also so I do not go out very often as a life my life between training, full time student, and working 36+ hours on top of that is very demanding and requires a lot of my time (and I do love to be a home body that stays in - not even sorry) , but if the opportunity and time comes about to go out, and i want to - I will. Its valid that it may not be the most ideal thing but in life we all need balance. Even though I have many big goals with a personality thats very focused in achieving them its important to create curtain times its okay to find my balance. If finding the balance means some time away from grinding in everything else, you have to valid date that for yourself and take that time. Have a wonderful weekend guys ❤️ Also,, HUGE thank you for hair salon suggestions in the area !!!

Let’s talk about getting clients FAST 💵 There’s a good chance you won’t make client getting a priority if you already have enough work to live comfortably. Often times when you NEED clients you’ll be under some sort of duress. Whether it’s because you want to get out of this job you hate, you’re looking to expand your business quickly or your car payment and rent are all coming up and you only have $11.00 left in your bank account. In those scenarios you need a way to simplify client getting to its most simplistic form. Now let’s talk about these 3 things. First, something to offer. You NEED something to offer. Here’s what I mean, most coaches don’t offer anything. They just tell people what their skills are. That isn’t an offer. If I come up to you on the street and I say I can juggle, did I offer you anything? No, I just told you I can juggle. A lot of people when they pitch clients will say: “I can help people lose weight” “I can help cure anxiety” “I can make you a better writer, parent, spouse, etc.…” And what reaction do you think your prospect will have? Ok, thanks for telling me that’s wonderful. I have a long list of people who are saying something similar and I’m just trying to have my problem solved. An offer is that + something else (like you a benefit) Now number 2 is you need someone to offer it to. Preferably, someone who stands to benefit quite a bit by what you offer. If you want to know the secret, the secret is that you reverse the two. Instead of starting with an offer you start with a pain that you’ve noticed, recognized, seen, heard of or that you’ve maybe experienced yourself. And then you craft an offer using the skills you possess to solve that pain. Now on to number 3 which is a way to get their attention so that you can offer it to them. The problem with most people is they just make their offer. They forget the step of getting attention first. Its why less talented people have more success in the creative fields, because they may not be better at the job than you but they are better at getting attention.
