Should you allow cheat meals into your diet? 🍷🍕🥪🍖🍗🍔🍟🥓🥨🍞 Every day (amiright). I don’t really have a specific day where I’m like OK this will be my day for a cheat meal. I believe in the 80/20 rule (or some may follow the 90/10 rule) where I eat healthy 80% of the time and incorporate little cheats to make up the 20%. When I do consume an atypical meal, I don’t go overboard... but I do believe that allowing yourself to indulge every so often is extremely beneficial. Cheat meals are good for a couple reasons 👉🏼 they can help regulate hormones 👉🏼 they help overcome weightloss plateaus 👉🏼 they provide your body extra energy 👉🏼 they give you a mental break 👉🏼 they remind us of how good we feel when we do eat healthy I like to allow myself one free meal per week where I can order something I’m craving or not track it into my macros...BUT REMEMBER IT IS A CHEAT MEAL NOT A CHEAT DAY. So still eat healthy the rest of the day, lift, get your veggies in, and drink yo water 💦 at Gainesville, Florida

Finished off my back workout with some barbell bent over rows. This wasn’t much weight for me - only 32.5kg - because I was too fatigued and my lats were pretty much gone. I was using slight momentum towards the last few reps. With this exercise, an underhand grip like what I was doing targets more lower lats whereas an overhand grip targets more upper back, so pick whatever one is relevant to you. Ce soir ce sera un post différent des autres. Je n’ai encore jamais posté d’avant après. J’ai débuté la musculation il y a maintenant deux ans. J’ai toujours été sportive mais c’est la première fois que « je m’accepte » physiquement. Au début, personne n’y croyait que j’y arriverais, que je continuerais et je me donnerais tant de mal. Pourtant, deux ans plus tard, voilà où j’en suis et rien ni personne ne m’empêchera de continuer. Certes peut être que pour certain il n’y a pas assez de changement, pour d’autres c’est trop, mais tout ça c’est avec la patience et le travail acharné et régulier que j’y suis arrivé. J’ai perdu pas mal de poids et j’ai débuté la muscu avec 63,5kg de poids de corps. Sur la première photo (à droite en gris), ce sont mes débuts à la salle (27 décembre 2016). La deuxième, j’ai pris un peu de poids mais ma silhouette a changé j’ai pris en muscle (25 octobre 2017). La dernière (18 décembre 2017) on voit le vrai changement. Aujourd’hui je pèse 75kg et j’en suis fière ! Je ne cherche pas un poids, même si j’avoue quand j’ai passé la barre des 7 j’ai tiré une drôle de tête 🤣, mais aujourd’hui je cherche un physique avant tout ! Arrêter de vous fier aux apparences et aux idéaux dictés dans les médias, magazines, et par la société.
