🤩👋Hi everyone! 💟 Today I am going to show you how to do the Single-Leg Stretch with a swiss ball. You will find it especially helpful in targeting the lower abs. It also trains the abdominals by stabilizing the trunk as the legs are in motion on a swiss ball. This particular exercise helps with not only core strength but also coordination, stability of the pelvis and endurance. 💯💯💦 . 💫Targets: Abs, Torso stability, leg stretch, core training. . 1. Place one legs on a swiss ball with your knees bent. Interlock fingers and place your hands behind your head to support the neck. Abdominals are scooped. . 2. Pull one knee(the leg on the ball) in towards chest and straighten the other towards the ball. Keep neck lifted and slightly tucked.  Maintain abdominal scoop and control of core. Toes are pointed and back is flat. . 3. Then, exhale and switch legs. Stretch your leg on the ball long. Making sure your leg is in line with the center of your body. . 4. Repeat 15 reps on one side, then on the other. . ⁉️Things to remember . 1. Scoop your belly at all times. Stay lifted. 2. Remain still in your torso (not rocking your body from side to side when switching legs). 3. How do you get a #flatstomach ? I get asked this question a lot and whilst I believe in looking at your body holistically and from a health perspective, I appreciate that some people really wish to have a #flattummy If you are one of those people, here are my top tips: 1 - Don’t get pregnant - instantly bulges your tummy 🤰Sorry could not help myself😂 2 - Learn how to correctly engage and exercise your core muscles. Strong core muscles have a flattening effect on your tummy. Many people simply do not know how to engage them correctly. 3 - Do not do abdominal exercises with poor technique causing your abs to push out. I really means this; so many people push their abs out to lift their shoulders off the floor - that’s not the way to a flat tummy. 4 - Sit up and stand up straight!!! If you slump you compress your spine and give yourself and instant belly. 5 - I have grown 1 inch since I started Pilates & Yoga many years ago and I swear it’s all due to me sitting and standing taller and creating more length in my spine, plus all the twisting and stretching of my spine keeping my discs healthy and plump. Notice how people shrink as they get older (do exercises like yoga and pilates that help preserve the health of the spine). If you lose height in your spine you instantly will gain a tyre around the middle. 6 - If you have a lot of fat on your tummy address your diet and avoid refined foods and opt for sensible portions of whole and real food.  I am definitely not one to deprive myself of what I fancy but I always opt for foods that give me maximum nutrition. Super important for pregnancy as you have less room to get food in, so I make sure the majority of what I am eating is giving my body and my baby all the nutrients it needs to be strong and healthy. I.e eat whole grain, unprocessed foods (i.e. as close to nature as possible), good quality proteins and heaps of vegetables. If you want something sweet, eat fruit ..so good in season😋 8 - Work out on an empty stomach to tap into fat stores. 9-Are you bloated? Was man weiß ist, dass ein großer Bauchumfang, ein hohes Körpergewicht der Mutter zu Beginn der Schwangerschaft bzw. in dessen Verlauf, scheinbar keine Risikofaktoren sind für eine bleibende RD. Dann gibt es wiederum Annahmen, dass Fehlhaltung, dauerhaft erhöhter Bauchinnendruck, Kaiserschnitt, ein hohes kindliches Geburtsgewicht sowie ein vorherrschendes Missverhältnis zwischen Kollagen Typ I und III Fasern in der LA, Einfluss auf die RD haben. #nichtsgenauesweismannicht Wenn es um das Training bei RD geht, dann gibt es hier verschiedenen Ansätze & keiner davon ist die Onefitsall – Lösung. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass ausschließliches Beckenbodentraining nicht ausreichend ist, um eine RD zu stabilisieren. Isometrische Übungen können positive Auswirkungen auf das Bindegewebe haben, genauso das reaktivieren und das Training des queren Bauchmuskels. Training der Bauchmuskulatur während der Schwangerschaft, kann das Risiko eine bleibende RD zu entwickeln, minimieren. Abschließend kann ich nur schreiben, für einige Mamas funktionieren die oben genannten Maßnahmen super und andere kommen damit gar nicht zurecht. Es gehört eben noch so viel mehr dazu, als nur Übungen ausführen. Dein Alltagsverhalten (Aufstehen, hinsetzen, atmen, Einkäufe tragen, Toilettenverhalten etc.) ist enorm wichtig, damit die Heilung des Gewebes nicht durch ständige Überlastung gestört wird. Jetzt würde ich euch liebend gerne die EINE Übung präsentieren, die garantiert die Bauchmuskulatur aktiviert und das Bindegewebe wieder festigt. #trommelwirbel – DIE gibt es leider nicht. Ich habe euch den ersten Block meines Onlinekurses freigeschaltet, indem ich die Basics vermittele. Schaut mal rein.
