Flaxseed Banana and Date Milkshake 🍌 . . . . . I always end up making this for breakfast, mainly due to the fact I prefer drinking something of this sort instead of actually eating proper breakfast, yes, I am not a breaky person 🙈. So, healthy shakes or smoothies seems to be loved by me anytime of the day 💪🏻. This cold beverage is super simple to make and I don’t have to add in any sugar as the sweetness from both the banana and date plays a natural role with the added texture of the flaxseed. I love the combination of everything added in here, I wouldn’t want it any other way 🧡. Although, you can add in Almonds(soaked in water) or Walnuts into this shake and enjoy a nutty twist, or add in a dollop of honey 🍯 if you feel the sweetness isn’t enough. To gain the maximum flavour, use bananas that are slightly towards the side of getting over-ripened. This shake is good enough to be combined with full fat, low fat or even skimmed milk, tastes just as good, because I’ve tried them all 🤤. . . . . . You can opt the flaxseeds out of the shake but they are quite beneficial to consume on a daily basis as they are a rich source of healthy fat, antioxidants and fibre.
