In a world of never-ending food trends, diets or whatever you want to call it, the best thing you can do for your body is to give it what works best for it 💓 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A good ‘diet’ is soooo much more complex than just a list food you must eat and another list to avoid. So much more than calories. Calories should be the last thing on your mind actually. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Knowing what nourishes us is harder than just following the latest diet trends or trying what worked great for SOMEONE. IT DOESN’T MEAN IT WILL WORK FOR YOU 🤷🏻‍♀️✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Think health history, genetic factors, ancestry, hormonal and gut issues, fitness level, sleep, stress etc.. All of those can influence what foods work for you. It could be a changing factor too. Here are some tips: 💧 Stay hidrates. This will help you reduce cravings and feel fuller. 🍲 Don’t skip meals. Eat at about the same time each day, If you can. 🏃🏻‍♀️Get active. Just increasing activity a little bit may create a mindset to eat better too. ⏰ Perplan around cravings. If you always get hungry for salt at 3pm or sugar after dinner, have a healthier alternative ready to go. 🙏🏻 Forgive yourself when you slip up.
