It stands out in my mind as the turning point in my work because for the first time in a long time I felt a connection to the images I was creating. It was also the first time shooting on my own #Contax 645. There was obviously no LCD screen on the back of my camera to confirm the beauty I was creating—but I could just FEEL it deep in my bones. Does anyone else get that feeling? Film has forever won me over. There’s something so precious about it—it forces you to slow down and make every frame as *perfect* as it can be.
